Attractive newly refurbished semi-detached Spanish style Bungalow at the top of Mijas Golf only a few minutes drive to Golf courses. 10 mins drive to beaches, shops, & Aquapark. Sleeps up to 4 people. Air conditioning and heating, FREE UNLIMITED WIFI, Decked bbq area. Lounge with sofa bed and armchair, 43" flat screen T.V. WITH SOME ENGLISH SATELLITE CHANNELS , dvd. Air conditioning .Coffee table. American style fully fitted kitchen , fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, hob gas and electric, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee cafetiere, blender. Dining area with table & chairs. Bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, wash basin & w.c. Ironing Board, Iron & Hairdryer provided. Bedroom with 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, air conditioning, patio doors leading to terrace. Floor safe in wardrobe. Large private sunny terrace, decked area with Gas bbq, table and chairs, parasol, patio pull out blind. Lovely views. There is a popular italian Restaurant & bar on site open all year round, good food & atmosphere, entertainment some nights. Mini-market open in high season, you can order fresh bread and rolls for the next day. Large communal swimming pool with grassed areas, toilets, loungers. Lifeguard present in high season. Bedding & towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for swimming pool, beach etc. This is a non smoking property. A Car is necessary. Wheelchair inaccessible. There are some steps down to the property.

excellent location

The property was ideally positioned for us and despite the area being built up was very quiet . Lovely restaurant on site and very helpful property manager (Mano) who was always friendly and keen to ensure we were enjoying our time .

Our only frustration was the TV which was not working and did not work for 6 out of our 7 days until an engineer came .

All things considered I would definitely recommend this property

Mijas golf is a lovely, quiet and peaceful place

Excellent holiday for us and 2 children (5 & 7 years).

Apartment is well kept with 2 Aircon units. Floor safe is very solid and secure with a 2-key locking system and not like one of those cheap digital ones.

Swimming pool is a 2 minute walk from the apartment which is great if you compare it to how long it takes to get to a pool from your room if you are staying in a hotel. The swimming pool is big, clean and really well kept. Hardly ever busy and my kids had a great time using it. There were always sun loungers available.

Cheryl was a pleasure to deal with before, during and after our stay. She always responded and dealt with emails/issues straight away. This really made our 2 week holiday more enjoyable.

Great base for exploring

The apartment was very well equipped in a lovely area with great views and good facilities. My Daughter loved having the sky TV and the Wifi (which worked brilliantly!). The living area was very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of storage spaces and good to have a safe. The outdoor terrace was lovely and a nice place to relax and very secure with lovely views. We used the BBQ one evening which was great. (We did have to clean all the tables and chairs though before use). The only real issue we had with the apartment was with the air conditioning unit in the bedroom which was dripping quite loudly and kept us awake!

The pool area is lovely and was never crowded. There are quite a few steps though to access it from the apartment so wouldn't be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

The complex has a small supermarket and a really good Italian restaurant, we ate here three nights and the food was lovely (booking is recommended as it is full every night!). We also had a drink in the Eurostars hotel opposite which was lovely. There are a couple of larger supermarkets 10 minutes drive away which were incredibly cheap.

You really need a car if you're staying here, although we did get a taxi to Fuengirola which was approx £25 return. Mijas Pueblo and Benalmadena Pueblo are lovely villages to visit, as is La Cala de Mijas and Puerto Banus. We also had a lovely day at Mijas water park which was only 15 minutes away.

Overall was extremely good value for the week and would definitely recommend.

Owner's Response: Our aim is for our guests to feel they can be in a very relaxed environment and enjoy the benefits the property has to offer. Any issues are addressed as soon as we are made aware of the situation. The air conditioning was recently installed and an engineer came out immediately and remedied the problem. Our 3 week stay at B63 Mijas Golf

We found our stay in Mijas Golf Bungalow B63 ref:8173652 very enjoyable, we found the bungalow very clean, air con, ( very efficient) wifi, washing machine, everything we needed to make our stay like home from home.

The owner Cheryl very helpful and plesant to deal with, any questions, she was very prompt in replying.

The pool is fantastic, full size and very clean, quiet, and peaceful area, with the added security of a full time life guard.

The reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is not because of anything to do with the property, we find the area very hilly. (We are in our late 60's)

Not a big problem if you have a car, which is needed.

I would like to thank Cheryl for letting her lovely Spanishy style bungalow to us for 3 weeks.

I would certainly recommend her place for a quiet, restful and peaceful holiday, good restaurant and shop within walking distance (5 mins) they make the most fabulous pizza!

I would certainly recommend her to my family and friends.

GREAT PLACE FOR RELAXING!

This house is a perfect place for a peaceful stay, very clean and comfortable with everything you could need provided. The photos of the terrace area don't do it justice. It is a wonderful LARGE terrace, totally private and gets the sun all day. To be honest we were rarely in the house so the terrace was very important and was very comfortable place to be. There is an awning which when opened shades almost half the terrace, great for me as while I love the heat, I do like to sit in the shade too. The restaurant on the urbanization (although we didn't use it) seemed very popular and was full every night, so must be very good! The one thing I would say about the location (and this very much depends on the type of Hol you like) is that a car is really needed if you want to go around the surrounding area. We like to go to different places to eat at night and as we had a car were able to go to Mijas, Benalmadena and explore the coastal area. This was the first time we have visited this area, we tend to go to Nerja and surrounding areas, but found this part of Costa Del Sol very nice and will go back again.

The pool is wonderful! As we stayed the last two weeks in May, the pool and lovely ground around it were so quiet. Got a bit busy (and noisy) at the weekends as the Spanish people who live in the area and have use of the pool were off work and school and enjoying it too. During the week there were never more than about ten people using this HUGE, very clean and well looked after pool.

I would highly recommend this house for a great stay.

Perfect getaway holiday

Just right for those who want to escape the madding crowd! Great kitchen for those who want to cook. If you want a great meal with fantastic ambiance use the local Italian restaurant downstairs. Lovely pool in quiet surroundings and at the end of the day settle down to a relaxing evening. Beds were really comfortable. Sid and Cheryl are only too happy to assist if needed.

The location is lovely with stunning views to the sea and mountains. If you want peace and tranquillity this is the place for you. Although the shops and nightlife are only a 10 min drive away. The recently landscaped golf courses are only few minutes drive way.

The nearest train station is Fuengirola which is approx. 15 mins drive from the urbanization. The trains run to Malaga airport right outside the terminal at a very reasonable cost.

Distances:

The nearest town is Fuengirola which is approx. 10 mins drive away.

The lovely old village of Mijas Pueblo with the famous donkeys is approx. 20 minutes drive away and La Cala town is approx. 20 minutes drive.

Further Details:

There is a Restaurant & bar on site open all year, good food and atmosphere with entertainment some nights. Closed Mondays. A well stocked mini-market, please check board outside for opening times.

The property has air conditioning in lounge and bedroom, with hot or cold air.The terrace is large and private and very safe for children, they can play outside with peace of mind. Shuttered window on terrace looks out to lovely views. It is very convenient for golfers as golf courses only 2mins drive. The communal pool is large with lovely grassed areas, loungers & toilets. It is a very friendly community. The restaurant on site is very popular and the food and atmosphere is good. The added bonus is that they have entertainment throughout the year.
