This brand new luxury apartment is on the 2nd floor and is easily accessible via a lift making it easy for luggage/golf equipment, located on the back 9 of the Coto Real golf course, 1 km from the beach and marina, approximately 3 minutes in a car or taxi, this apartment has been finished to the highest of standards with bespoke furniture and very high quality soft furnishings. Each bedroom has 42" Samsung HD flat screens with DVD players. A 55" Samsung HD flat screen in the spacious and comfortable lounge area. All English channels including Sky Sports, Super fast WiFi is throughout the apartment including on the large furnished terrace which boosts panoramic sea views. Secure underground Parking space included, gated security with 24h security guard.

About Brenda Howard

My husband and I are Interior Designers based in Alderley Edge in the heart of Cheshire. We first visited Duquesa in 2002 after the birth of our last child, we have 5 children ranging from 13-27 and 3 dogs. We fell in love with Duquesa the first time we visited, as did our children who still accompany us on holidays with friends as there is something for everyone. When we bought our apartment we were offered a furniture package which was uninspirational. This is why we built all of our own furniture in our workshop in Cheshire, supplied all accessories and had them shipped over to Spain.

We bought the apartment in 2014 because we fell in love with Duquesa when we first visited in 2002. The surroundings are lovely with beautiful beaches that are uncrowded.

Notes on accommodation: Secure underground parking, gated security with security guard. apartment has a euro metre installed, this is topped up before your stay with an amount that will be more than enough to cover costs of electricity, this is just to encourage people not to leave electric and air con on all the time, e.g when not in the apartment. If you do wish to do that you can top it up using euro coins. Outside: Fully furnished large terrace with Rattan corner unit and table, Large dining table which is prefect for eating Alfresco on the warm peaceful evenings. balcony overlooks one of the 5 pools in the complex and has a great view of the med. lighting on the balcony. Utility Room: As you would expect the utility room has a brand new Washing machine, Tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are all included, apartment cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. beach towels are there if needed. Other: the apartment is newly furnished to a very high standard. has its own underground secure parking facility. 2 z beds are available if needed. hair dryer and hair straighteners are also available in the apartment.

5 star all the way in this luxuriously furnished apartment, including oversized very comfy beds. Amazing views from the beautiful balcony. Duquesa is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday, with a lovely marina where you can sit in one of the many restaurants and watch the world go by. I will defiantly be returning to this stunning apartment.

Fantastic and perfectly relaxing!

Communication started off well and continued only as required. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and plenty of space! The views were to die for and the early morning son was perfect. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

PROBLEMS WITH THE APARTMENT

PLEASE FIND LISTED BELOW PROBLEMS

1. LACK OF COMPREHENSIVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO FIND THE APARTMENT.

2 ON ARRIVAL WE FOUND THE APARTMENT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AND THERE WAS DIRTY BED LINEN AND TOWELS ON THE FLOOR AND THE BEDS. THE BEDS WERE UNMADE .WE CONTACTED THE OWNERS AND EVENTUALLY AT 19.50 SPANISH TIME THE CLEANER ARRIVED AND COMPLETED A CURSORY CLEAN. MRS GREEN WOOD HAD ALREADY MADE UP THE BEDS

3 ALTHOUGH THERE WERE TELEVISIONS IN THE BEDROOMS THEY WERE ONLY FOR DVDs NOT SET UP FOR TV PROGRAMMES AS THE DESCRIPTION LED US TO BELIEVE.

4 FOR THREE DAYS WE COULD NOT OBTAIN SKY ON THE MAIN TV. EVERY 2 OR THREE MINUTES IT WOULD FREEZE FOR A PERIOD OF 5 TO 20 SECONDS MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO WATCH ANY PROGRAMMES.

5VERY NOISY APARTMENT WITH CONTINUOUS MAINTENANCE VERY CLOSE. ALSO DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE MASTER BEDROOM THERE WAS SCAFFOLDING PARTIALLY OBSCURING THE VIEW WHICH WAS NOT USED AT ALL DURING OUR STAY

6 THE DESCRIPTION STATES 1 KM TO PORT BUT WHAT IT FAILS TO MENTION IS THAT A LARGE PART OF THE JOURNEY IS APPROX 1 : 4 HILL.

7 WE HAD TO PURCHASE A TOASTER AS THE ONE THERE ONLY WORKED ON 2 OF THE 4 ELEMENTS .

Owner's Response: Firstly I think reading all other reviews, you can see that this review has been posted due to unforeseen circumstances. 1 I supply every guest with a map of how to get to the apartment once they have reached duquesa village, to date I've had no complaints. I assume you had a sat nav in your car. You rang me to inform me that you were lost and I directed you to the duquesa village. 2 I can only apologise regarding the apartment not being cleaned, this has never happened before, the lady who looks after the apartment had got your arrival date wrong. However when you contacted us we did everything we could to rectify this. Initially we couldn't contact our cleaner, so we rang around cleaning company in duquesa, but with it being late in the day, couldn't get any help. We managed to contact our cleaner and she came up to clean the apartment with extra help. Again I can only apologise for this as we did on the day. We also compensated you financially, with the offer of 50 euros to pay for a meal on our behalf, the least we could do, of which you accepted. 3 The TVs in the bedroom are only set up for dvds, again we haven't had any complaints regarding this. The description says we have TVs in bedroom, it doesn't say it's set up for tv programs. 4 again we haven't had complains regarding this matter, unfortunately the only way to stream sky in Spain is via the internet and think most people uderstand that due to this the channels will buffer from time to rime. I've never known anyone having problems with sky for one whole day let alone 3. I know you struggled using the tv when you arrived, my so-in-law talked you through how to use it. You had both our phone numbers, I wish you'd have contacted us, we would have done everything we could to help as always. 5 sorry but again we've never had complaints with the apartment being noisy, however duquesa village has been undergoing maintenance over the last yearour block was due to be painted in February, the schedule hasn't gone to plan and with regret the scaffolding was erected prior to your arrival without informing me. The reason the scaffolding was not used, is because I contacted the company and gave them your departure date and asked if they could carry out works after this date, to give you your privacy. 6 duquesa village is st in the hills of the golf course hence the amazing views. 7 again you could have contacted us when the toaster wasn't working properly and I would have supplied a new one.

Absolutely Stunning Apartment!

This apartment is exactly as you see in the photographs. It is designed to the highest standards. Stunning views from the beautiful balcony. Pool area very nice. Good communication with the owner Barbara. Had a wonderful 3 week stay. Would highly recommend.

Beyond Expectations!!!

From the moment we entered this amazing apartment we were in awe of the superb decor. The apartment has every amenity and luxury one could wish for. The panoramic views from the balcony were spectacular. This has got to be one of the most relaxing holidays, and it was made extra special by our stay in this beautiful apartment. We are re-booking for next year so we are not left disappointed. Thank you so much.xx

Deposit is 25%, balance is to be paid up to 4 weeks before arrival date. A security deposit is required of £200.00 1 week before arrival and will be refunded after your return providing no damage.

Changeover Day:
Flexible, depending on bookings! Apartment is normally prepared by 2pm, guests can depart at 10am on day of departure.

Any stay under 6 nights will incur a 30 euro surcharge on to the total cost
