Each bedroom has 42" Samsung HD flat screens with DVD players. A 55" Samsung HD flat screen in the spacious and comfortable lounge area. All English channels including Sky Sports, Super fast WiFi is throughout the apartment including on the large furnished terrace which boosts panoramic sea views. Secure underground Parking space included, gated security with 24h security guard.

About Brenda Howard

My husband and I are Interior Designers based in Alderley Edge in the heart of Cheshire. We first visited Duquesa in 2002 after the birth of our last child, we have 5 children ranging from 13-27 and 3 dogs. We fell in love with Duquesa the first time we visited, as did our children who still accompany us on holidays with friends as there is something for everyone. When we bought our apartment we were offered a furniture package which was uninspirational. This is why we built all of our own furniture in our workshop in Cheshire, supplied all accessories and had them shipped over to Spain.

Why Brenda Howard chose Manilva

We bought the apartment in 2014 because we fell in love with Duquesa when we first visited in 2002. The surroundings are lovely with beautiful beaches that are uncrowded.

Notes on accommodation: Secure underground parking, gated security with security guard. apartment has a euro metre installed, this is topped up before your stay with an amount that will be more than enough to cover costs of electricity, this is just to encourage people not to leave electric and air con on all the time, e.g when not in the apartment. If you do wish to do that you can top it up using euro coins. Outside: Fully furnished large terrace with Rattan corner unit and table, Large dining table which is prefect for eating Alfresco on the warm peaceful evenings. balcony overlooks one of the 5 pools in the complex and has a great view of the med. lighting on the balcony. Utility Room: As you would expect the utility room has a brand new Washing machine, Tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are all included, apartment cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. beach towels are there if needed. Other: the apartment is newly furnished to a very high standard. has its own underground secure parking facility. 2 z beds are available if needed. hair dryer and hair straighteners are also available in the apartment.

Lovely apartment with views over duquesa. Big plus was underground parking. No hot car to start the day. Ideally located to explore the area - Estepona, Marbella, Mijas, Ronda.

Beautiful, luxury apartment! Great value for money

We arrived on the 9th June for a 2 week stay. Having read all the positive reviews I was so excited to stay however it totally exceeded my expectations. Firstly the location, it's set in the heart of Duquesa which is a really pretty village port but also commuteable distance to so many other fantastic areas along the Costa Del Sol. It's at the top of a steady hill and it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the port which is a really nice relaxing walk with great views, half way down the hill there is a courtyard which has a couple bars, shop, take away and an amazing restaurant called Montes, perfect for a local night. The Duquesa Village resort is behind security gates which are manned 24/7 and the resort is very well maintained. It's very pretty and kept perfectly clean. The choice of FIVE pools means you can have so much variety throughout your stay. The apartment building has a lift which makes it very easy to get your luggage in and goes directly to the car garage. The apartment itself is so nicely decorated, it feels very chic. The way it's designed to maximise space so you have a lot of room but the benefit of plenty of storage space. It was very clean, the beds and sofa were all extremely comfy. I found everything I could possibly need in the kitchen, all the utensils are so handy especially for nights in having tea on the balcony. The best feature was the balcony, I love that it has the large dining table but also the rattan lounge sofas which you can retire too after dinner. The views are unbelievable, the pictures don't do it justice. I met a lot of friendly people that lived on the resort and overall it was a fun family environment. Cannot wait to come back!!!

Ealry summer break with my husband, sister and brother in law.

Great apartment. Good location. There are 5 pools in total. Most days we were the only people at the pool closest to our block.This would probably change in the height of summer. Very well equipped. Good quality furnishings. linen, cutlery and crockery. Very clean and comfy. Everything you could want. It was exactly as portrayed in the photographs, On a slight negative side there was building work being carried out in our block and scaffold outside our patio most of the week and I found the need to supplement the electricity costs via a meter a little odd.

Malaga airport is located to the North, approx 1 hour by car, Gibraltar airport is located to the south approx 25 mins by car. car hire is recommended however there is a taxi rank in the marina, there are numbers in the apartment you can ring for them to pick you up and they will be there in a few minutes.

there are lots of bars and restaurants located around the marina including 2 beach bars. there is a small supermarket in the marina as well as a souvenir shop. there are 3 large supermarkets, super sol, mercadona and lidl located in sabinillas, there are lots of banks and other shops in sabinillas which is about 1km away.

Deposit is 25%, balance is to be paid up to 4 weeks before arrival date. A security deposit is required of £200.00 1 week before arrival and will be refunded after your return providing no damage.

Changeover Day:
Flexible, depending on bookings! Apartment is normally prepared by 2pm, guests can depart at 10am on day of departure.

Any stay under 6 nights will incur a 30 euro surcharge on to the total cost
