Set in the heart of a working family farm, this tasteful barn conversion is in prime location for walking, cycling and touring many local attractions. It is built mainly from local stone, with wood cladding, double glazing and oil central heating throughout. The cottage has it's own garden complete with patio (and furniture) and built-in BBQ, with room for 3 cars. During the winter months why not sit and relax in front of the large open fire, whilst watching a 42inch TV!

About the Owner

The Simcock family have been at Green Farm since 1918, with current owners Cyril and Shirley on site for 25 years.

We are busy farmers, but take pride in personally greeting all guests, willing to chat and explain what is happening on the farm. We have 4 children, 22, 21, 18 and 14. 3 working sheep dogs and 3 "pet" dogs, only one (Bill) is allowed to wander around without us (although they are extremely friendly!)

Beautiful remodeled barn!

We needed a cottage near Worcester for the Easter weekend. There were 6 of us, two couples and two singles. This 3 bedroom remodeled barn fit the bill perfectly! The master bedroom is huge with a queen, a twin and a crib if needed, along with it's own bathroom. There was another bedroom with I believe a double and then the third bedroom with two twin beds. There was another bath room upstairs, and then there was a handicap accessible bathroom on the first floor. There was a lift on the stairs for anyone who might need it. The kitchen and dining area were large and very homey. All appliances worked well. Living room was large with a wood burning fireplace and seating for at least 8. Shirley met us when we pulled in and showed us around the whole place. She told us to turn up the thermostat up as much as we needed to be warm. This is a working farm, so expect to hear a few moo's and baa's during your stay. All in all it worked out great for all in our party. We would definitely stay here again. If you do stay, be sure and bring a treat for retired sheep dog Bill !

From the Owner

The Simcock family have been at Green Farm since 1918, with current owners on site for 25 years. The cottage is set in the heart of the farmyard, but guests tell us they are not aware of this when staying, as it is peaceful and rural. We are less than a mile from A417, but you can not hear any traffic. Beautiful walks all around, with a picturesque Church at the tip of the garden!
