About Judy

I live here with my two children, having moved to Cumbria in 2001 to live a rural life in the beautiful Lake District National Park.

Brackenrigg is a wonderful spot; views from the front of the cottages of the Helvellyn range of fells - a stunning uninterrupted vista from far left to far right. Being just 3 miles from Keswick, we have all the amenities on the door step - but live in a beautiful rural landscape. Walking from the door is a great pleasure, valleys, or stiffer climbs to suit the mood, and being located in the very heart of the park - most areas of the Lake District are within an easy drive.

We love the gardens, woodland; and wildlife here - badgers, red squirrels, deer, owls, song birds and birds of prey, pheasants.

I am delighted to welcome you to this beautiful place

Judy purchased this cottage in 2001

Why Judy chose England

The location is right in the heart of the National Park, walking from the door, but easy drive to all parts of Lake District - whether Borrowdale, Ullswater, or south to the Langdales, Ambleside. Only 3 miles to town centre of Keswick
