About the Owner

Myself and my wife moved to Ibiza in 2012, having previously worked in mainland Spain for two years, and haven't looked back since. We bought Casa Madera in 2013 and live and work year round in Ibiza.

I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer and I also have IbiZenEco - an organic goodness delivery company supporting Ibiza's local farmers and producers.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Casa Madera. It is a perfect villa for a relaxing holiday - surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. It was a haven! The villa and gardens are charming with different areas to sit and relax. The house itself is a perfect size - cosy and homely but not too small. The bedroom set up was perfect for our family with teenagers - main bedroom in the house and the children tucked away in their own space. All the bedrooms were very spacious and decoration was simple and fresh. We all loved it. Location on the island is perfect - 10 minutes to Ibiza town and 5 minutes to Santa Euralia. Plenty of different beaches and restaurants to choose from. Thoroughly recommended!

We fell in love with Casa Madera the minute we stepped foot through its gate. It is our permanent home, our love and our project. We have spent the past two years renovating and have many more plans in the pipeline. Having been used to renovating property in the UK, we have had to adjust to the Spanish way of life, embodied perfectly by the Spanish (Catalan) saying 'Poc a Poc' or 'little by little', as the phenomenon of 'mañana' most definitely exists! We love the area as we have the best of both worlds - rural countryside and pine forest close to the beach whilst only being a stones throw from all the amenities you could want.

Santa Eulalia - the third largest town on the island attracts holidaymakers with its broad beaches, a palm fringed promenade, a fantastic choice of restaurants and great shopping.

Ibiza Town - the largest city on the island & the most fascinating, day or night. Here you will see a concentration of all the attractions.

Santa Gertrudis - at the geographical heart of the island, steeped in tradition with a cluster of bars, restaurants & shops & a rich agricultural landscape all around.
