This spacious modern 2 bedroom apartment is in the stunning complex of Residencial La Fuente. This lovely apartment is tastefully furnished and has lovely views of the Almijaras mountains, over the valleys filled with almond and avocado trees. The complex is extremely well maintained and the beautifully landscaped gardens offer peaceful walks to the communal pool, children’s pool and padle court. Only 2 minutes walk away is the historic area of Frigiliana village nestling in the foothills of one of Spain’s most beautiful national parks, it is a beautiful white washed Moorish hill village, with a maze of clean cobbled streets, very quiet and relaxing, with ample choice of restaurants, boutiques and village shops for supplies. There are fabulous beaches only a 10 minutes drive away in the nearby vibrant town of Nerja.

We bought this apartment two years ago to holiday as a couple and with our family of older teenage children. It works on all fronts as a quiet relaxing bolt hole for us as a couple and also has enough going on to be a hit with the children when we're all there.

We spent a fantastic week in Frigiliana. This apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Excellent communication with the owner beforehand and everything was as described. The apartment is well maintained and was immaculate on arrival. the shops, bars and restaurants are all closeby and would recommend that you get yourself lost in the beautiful streets of the town.
Only one slight issue was that several times we were unable to park directly outside the complex after being out for the day as it would seem that Frigliana gets a few evening visitors to its restaurants. We had to park about an 8 minute walk away however the beautiful views on the walk back soon settle any irritability !!
Overall we had a fantastic stay and have put Frigliana on the shortlist of places to retire to and have recommended it to everyone since our return!
Great week in Frigiliana
Fantastic apartment with everything you would need from a self catering base, clean and well presented. Made use of the cool box and beach items. Air con in the bedrooms was a plus. Communal pool was clean and a welcome break from the lovely warm weather. The village is just outside Nerja, has outstanding views, beautiful white washed Spanish houses and cobbled streets. Plenty of restaurants serving good food within walking distance at reasonable prices. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Well appointed and very comfortable apartment
Myself and two friends based ourselves at this apartment for a three day cycling trip. The location was ideal and just right for our first ride from Malaga airport to Frigliana.
The next two days we rode from here out, up into the mountains and then following the coast line.
For cyclists it is perfect; plenty of spectacular scenery with mountain climbs or fast flats. We were riding road bikes but I would expect mountain biking to be equally enjoyable.
The apartment allowed us to feed well, wash kit, recover and relax, ensuring we were fresh for the next day.
Frigliana centre is a short walk and we ventured out for some evening ambience.
Highly recommended to cyclists, runners or relaxers.
Fantastic Spacious Apartment
My husband and I stayed here with three teenage children for ten very hot days in August. We hadn't used owners direct before when booking our holidays and we were not disappointed. The apartment was very clean, spacious and homely, fitted with all mod cons. There is a lovely terrace and garden to relax and have a barbeque. We all enjoyed using the swimming pool at the apartment that has wonderful mountain views, especially the teenagers, several times a day.
The apartment is very well situated in the beautiful town of Frigliana, just a short stroll from the bars and restaurants. There is a local shop just five minutes walk away that is very well stocked and several supermarkets just ten minutes drive in the lovely town of Nerja. Our favorite beach is situated in Burriana, where the children enjoyed rides on the banana boat and pedalos.
I would strongly recommend staying here - an enjoyable holiday and a beautiful place to stay

Activity and Interests
In the nearby beach town resort of Nerja (6 km) is 10 minutes by car or local bus ( 1 Euro hourly service in high season)
Malaga Airport is 60 kilometres away on a direct motorway link, approx. 45 mins drive. Local & regional public transport is reliable and cheap. Car hire is advisable for more independent travel/exploration of the wider Andalusia area.
Two minute walk to the historic village for grocerys and craft shops, bank, chemist, post office, gym, outdoor swimming pool and a wonderful choice of restaurants and bars. There are four large supermarkets in Nerja, and a Lidl is about 5 mins drive away.
Further afield the historic city of Granada home to the majestic Alhambra takes 50 minutes by car. Sierra Nevada is 30 minutes from Granada where you can ski late in the season on the south facing slopes of this popular ski resort.
Frigiliana is located just 6 kilometres inland north of Nerja and lies at an altitude of 435 metres. Situated in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range, Frigiliana is an extremely pretty village which has received several awards for conservation and beauty. It enjoys spectacular countryside as well as wonderful sea views and good access to the coast. The population is around 3,000.
The village is a tangle of narrow cobbled streets lined by whitewashed houses, their wrought-iron balconies filled with planters of brilliant red geraniums. Small plazas provide shady seating while the village bars are popular with visitors who come here to taste the locally produced wine. There are also several excellent shops selling pottery and ceramics, including decorative plates with their distinctive Arab design. Frigiliana is best explored by foot.
Due to its unrivalled charm Frigiliana attracts a vast number of tourists during the summer months. Sunny summer days can be spent enjoying a light refreshment in one of its numerous bars and cafes, taking in the sights of some of its enduring processions and fiestas or exploring the area by taking a walk through olive groves, avocado plantations and lines of almond trees.

Through the village access gate, we are just minutes walk away from a range of cafes and restaurants in the historic centre of Frigiliana to while away an afternoon or beautiful evening sunset. In the summer months our apartment offers a shady area for lunchtime dining on the patio and the apartment benefits as a cool retreat. We recently visited in April and enjoyed a fantastic day skiing in Sierra Nevada - abundant snow and glorious sunshine!”

- Notes on accommodation: This is our family holiday home and we have taken great care to make it as comfortable as possible for our guests to have an enjoyable holiday. No smoking is allowed in this accommodation. The TV picks up the main UK terrestrial TV channels, we have a DVD player. Parking on street at front of property. Air conditioning is a pay as you go box using €1 coins. Outside: Leading from the apartment via the lounge or bedrooms there is a spacious shaded patio with dining table, 6 chairs and barbecue to relax in the shade by the fountain while dinning. Up the stairs to the garden is a corner seating area and cantilever parasol,coffee table for outside living, gated for security. The patio also has its own lighting to create that perfect evening ambiance. Utility Room: Washing machine, airier, iron and ironing board. Sun parasol, beach/ pool chairs and mats. Cool box. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen, bath towels and tea towels are provided, and the property will be cleaned before you arrive. Other: We have a large cool seating area next to the bedrooms with 2 double sofa beds which can be curtained off to make a third bedroom.
