1 bedroomed large bungalow attached to the owner's property with own entrance

Own private entrance leading to hallway, leading to a large lounge/dining room, which contains a table and four chairs, Welsh dresser, two seater leather settee, television and DVD player, bureau with lots of local information, games, DVD's, books and CD's.

1 large bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, CD player and mirror.

Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, oven and grill, Microwave, fridge, washing machine and well-equipped with essential cooking equipment.

Bathroom with bath, electric shower, wash basin and wc.

The property is advertised for two but a cot is available if required.

There is parking on your own private drive for one vehicle.

A small patio area with table and four chairs for alfresco dining.

The gardens of the bungalow and owners property are delightful.

At the end of the lane is a cider tasting shed where the famous Lulworth Skipper cider can be sampled and purchased.

About Philip Morgan

The property is owned by Phil and Jackie. Jackie is employed full time by a charity in Bournemouth so the day to day running of both properties is done by Phil.

Phil was a Policeman in London and Dorset retiring in 2003.

They purchased the property in 2015 having lived most of their lives in Poole and Christchurch as they wanted to move to a more rural location.

Phil will be around a lot of the time to deal with any queries you may have but will be unobtrusive and has instructions to leave you alone as he does love to talk.

Why Philip Morgan chose Purbeck

Phil and Jackie purchased this property in 2015. They first looked over the property in the summer of 2014 and fell in love with it at first sight. The gardens are a delight to behold.

They both love Dorset and although well travelled they consider this area one of the most beautiful in the country. The Dorset countryside and coastline must be one of the best in England.

The property to let is joined to the owners property but has its own private access and driveway.

The previous owners use to let the property on Owners Direct and after careful consideration Phil and Jackie have decided to do the same.

Although very rural with its peace and quiet it is only a short drive to the towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth and there vibrant communities.

What makes this bungalow unique

Lilac Lea is a very comfortable large one bedroomed property. Situated in a rural area but just a short distance from the village of Bere Regis with the Wareham forest on its doorstep and the Purbeck Hills and South West Costal Path just a short drive away.

Deer are often seen in the fields opposite the property and birdlife is abundant.

2015 is the first year that a pair of House Martins have built their nest in the apex roof of Lilac lea. The local Robins will feed out of your hands when they get used to you.

A beach hut at Middle Beach, Studland is also available for your use during your stay at no extra cost.

Arrived to find a clean and tidy home from home and very friendly and caring owners.on the + side a nice big telly .if you don't watch it plenty of interesting books or not to forget Internet like I have said home from home.RELAX AND ENJOY WE DID

The bungalow was lovely,everything we needed in there and clean and spacious.

Philip was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the four night break. Its a wonderful area with plenty to see and do. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a 5 star lovely bungalow. You couldn't ask for anything more. Philip the owner had put a complementary breakfast in the fridge which was very appreciated. The bungalow is very specious, spotlessly clean and very light. Lovely large bedroom with a very comfortable bed.

Can't recommend this holiday home enough.

Thank you both for letting us stay at your lovely home.

Hope to visit again.

Beautiful Bungalow In a Wonderful Setting

This bungalow is in a lovely location. It is comfy, cosy and very well equipped. The owners have thought of everything you could need. We were greeted on arrival by Philip, the owner, who was a very helpful and kind host. The bungalow was very spacious and beautifully clean. We had a wonderful few days in this affordable and very nice bungalow.

Much larger than expected! Wonderful location for touring around this part of Dorset. do come visit

This is a Great property in an idyll spot for touring this part of Dorset. We only had a long weekend and were sad to leave. We Will definitely be recommending this to our friends. A Lovely comfy bed and so soft towels too! As we know the area living just over an hour away, this was a really comfy and warm, well equipped bungalow, and nice to not have to do much driving once we had settled in. Our little dog was well behaved once he had his little sniff about! The weather was fabulous for March and we made the most of our short, but sweet, break. We would highly recommend the Swanage steam train..get the park and ride at Norden, just down the road 10-15 minutes or so. Blue pool is another beautiful place to spend some time at. "Archie" thoroughly enjoyed his walk around the pool. Lulworth Cove is as beautiful as it looks in any photo you may have seen. And if you feel energetic the walk to Durdle Door is amazing. Weymouth is a wonderful seaside resort, something for everyone. A great beach, beautiful harbour, the Nothe Fort with great views of Portland, also well worth a visit.

All in all a lovely very good value property. How could l forget... the goodies for a cooked breakfast, plus milk and tea/coffee, were a very unexpected surprise!!

Think l had better book another break!! Do it, you will not be disappointed!

Great location, bungalow well equipped, had lovely treat in the fridge of bacon eggs tomatoes and mushrooms, very spacious. Would definitely recommend and book again.
