Great Apartment!

On arrival our first impression was that the apartment was much bigger than it looks on the photos. All of the rooms are furnished to a very high standard, the Kitchen was very well equipped and a really good size. Both terraces were lovely. Overall a very high quality property. This was our first visit to Vilamoura, and we were not disappointed. The Marina is fantastic, packed with restaurants to suit every taste and a very nice relaxed atmosphere in the evenings, no sign of any larger louts!! The beach was amazing, lovely for sitting and walking on. The owner Nicola was really helpful as we made a few last minute amendments to our booking. I would highly recommend that anyone considering this property should book before someone else does!

Superb

We've been to this complex 3 times now and enjoy it as much every time. The complex is spotless, gardens are impeccably kept and apartments are very well maintained.

This apartment is very well furnished, modern and incredibly clean & comfortable for a wonderfully relaxing break.

The location is superb, Vila Sol is such a lovely area, with a couple of lovely restaurants on the complex. The new Wildfire restaurant is really lovely and The Moon is also very, very nice. The water park is literally around the corner and the supermarkets are within 5 mins drive. You do need a car staying here, we booked through Avis for a very reasonable price. We wouldn't hesitate to book D4 again, it has all the facilities you need including Books, games, cards, TV and most importantly WIFI!!! The only suggestions we would make would be a docking station for music and we did find the mattress quite hard on the main bed. But neither of these things affected our holiday at all!

Superb apartment set in excellent surroundings

First time at Palmyra and very impressed with the quality of the development and the surrounding gardens and pool area.

Stayed at D4 Palmyra which is a stunning apartment which offered an ideal base for the family of 4. Very spacious and well appointed with easy access from Faro airport and a short drive (5 mins) to Vilamoura Marina.

The golf at VIla Sol was also excellent and only 2/3 mins away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nicola and Adams apartment and would recommend this for any couples or family looking for an ideal retreat withij easy reach of all local activitries and facilities.

Nicola in particular was very helpful and made the whole booking process very easy....thanks and hope to return in the future.

Modern, spacious and well equipped

We'd definitely return to this apartment and it's not often we say that.

Lots of space and it's very light and airy. Decor and furnishings are modern yet homely and well maintained.

Plenty of hanging and storage space for your clothes and a large selection of books and dvds for those evenings when you just want to slob in your comfies. The kitchen was well equipped too and the cutlery and crockery were nice and clean which so often isn't the case when self catering. If I had to pick fault with anything it would be the bed in the master bedroom, it was a little on the hard side for us but I suppose everyone has different preferences.

Pretty gutted we never got to use the rooftop terrace as it's a fantastic space but the pool area was great and we never struggled to find a lounger which we were pleasantly surprised by, considering it was the height of summer.

A car is definitely required but we knew that up front so it wasn't an issue and the underground parking space means you can get in to a nice cool vehicle without perspiring profusely. A few minutes drive down the road there are a couple of nice restaurants, Wildfire in particular gets a huge thumbs up from us, but if you want something a little cheaper and more relaxed then Oscar's Bar do a selection of nice meals too.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment or indeed complex to others, it provided us with a lovely base for our summer holiday.

Thank you Nicola and Adam for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment ,I am very choosy when booking and discard many options , so was delighted to find your gem.Thank you also for responding to my questions and requests for restuarant recommendations.

The apartment was Clean, modern and stylish , with pristine bathrooms ( very important ) lovely outdoor furniture on the roof terrace and the balcony, and a very fully stocked kitchen . We couldn't have asked for anything more. We loved the Villa Sol complex and ate at some lovely restuarants. Thank you for your recommendations, we definately hope to be back !

This apartment is on a very secure, tranquil complex. You can't help but relax as soon as you drive into the development. The apartment is very spacious, providing high quality self-catering accommodation, private terraces and lovely views over the gardens and the pool.

Nearest Golf : Vila Sol at 500 Metres Nearest Restaurant : Vila Sol Hotel at 500 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Vilamoura and Quarteira beaches are 5 minutes drive away.

Travel:

Faro is the nearest international airport only 20 minutes away. We recommend you hire a car to enable you to fully appreciate everything the region has to offer, although the taxi from the airport is only approx 20-30 Euros.

Distances:

Vilamoura town with its stunning marina lined with trendy shops, bars, restaurants and beaches is just 5 mins drive away. Loule with its beautiful market is a 15 min drive. Quarteria with its shops, beaches and famous fish market is a 5 min drive away. Silves historic castle, Alvor fishing village, old town Tavira and old town Faro for shopping and restaurants and cultural activities, you really are spoilt for choice with so much on your doorstep and all easily accessible by car.

Outside: The large, private roof terrace with fabulous views over the tropical gardens and shared pool is solely for use by our apartment guests and is accessed via stairs from within the apartment. Facing south, those wanting to soak up the sun all day long, can do so with complete privacy. There are 4 luxury sun loungers, BBQ, dining table & chairs and parasols. The lower terrace offers a further dining area, seating up to 6, accessed from the lounge. Enjoy a morning coffee, or evening BBQ under the pergola and stars, taking in the beautiful aromatic scents from the carefully manicured shrubs and flowers. Cot & highchair available on request. Private underground parking in the basement also means your car stays cool. Utility Room: Washing Machine, airer with household items.
