House in Port Isaac, Cornwall, England - Peaceful Location Within A 7 Minute Walk To Port Isaac Harbour Or Port Gaverne Beach.

Set back from the coastal path in a development of just 13 properties and overlooking Port Gaverne the house sleeps 6 adults and two children comfortably in 4 bedrooms (one bunk room). A three storey house with panoramic sea views, internal balcony with bi fold doors, 4 bathrooms with Travertine tiling, electric underfloor heating throughout and enclosed rear patio. An allocated car parking space and further guest car parking is available and Nathan Outlaw's 2 Michelin star restaurant is within 50 metres of the property. The village is the home of the Doc Martin television series and The Fisherman's Friends Folk Group and has an abundance of good quality restaurants, cafe's and independent shops. The small fishing community sells some of its fresh daily catch at the harbour side fish mongers and at some of the village's restaurants.

Hello! My name is Natasha and I'm 24 years old. Thank you for taking an interest in our Cornish property. My parents have owned the house for about 6 years and would love to share their enjoyment of the property and location with other people (and the Doc Martin fans!). My parents, brother, sister and myself live in the Midlands, so we very much look forward to travelling down to spend our holidays there, and especially enjoy spending time in such a spacious, clean, modern and peaceful house. The sea views are incredible from the property and we make sure we venture out to various other places in Cornwall which are usually recommended by the locals. We have made many lovely memories during our time spent at the house, and we hope you make some of your own there, too.

Luxury house with fabulous balcony views.

The house has absolutely everything you could need. A short stroll into Port Isaac or Port Gaverne with its own private parking.

You will not find anything better.

Fabulous uninterrupted views out across the sea to Tintagel which you will never forget!

We had a New Year house party with friends - brilliant local food and a superb firework display to finish. Three happy couples that will be returning.

Simply stunning!

Wonderful property, beautiful views and great location. This is a perfect place to explore Cornwall; that said we didn't move the car all week as there is plenty to see and do right on your doorstep. Two beautiful bays within 10 minute walk of the house with fantastic longer coastal walks to Port Quinn and Lundy Hole. Just make sure you take a Cornish Pasty,plenty of water and pair of walking boots for the journey.

The house is immaculate with everything you need and it has private parking which is a rarity in Port Isaac. Simply stunning!

The village is the location for filming the ITV hit drama 'Doc Martin'.

Coast/Beach:

A short 7 minute walk to, both, Port Gaverne beach or Port Isaac harbour. A 15 minute drive to the nearest surfing beach, Polzeath or Trebarwith Strand. Stunning coves and beaches to be explored and all within a 30 minute drive to include Bodmin,Tintagel, Rock and Padstow. The coastal path is overlooked from the property

Travel:

The use of a car is recommended, but a bus stop is located opposite the entrance to the development. The service runs all over North Cornwall and can connect you to other areas in Cornwall and the South West. The nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway which is 30 minutes away.

Distances:

The closest town and supermarket is 20 minutes away in Wadebridge where you will find a cinema and the famous Camel Trail.The cathedral city of Truro is a 45 minute drive away and Lanhydrock House 30 minutes drive. The closest surfing beach is Polzeath which is a 10 minute drive away.

Further Details:

A well stocked Co-op is situated in the village, with various top quality restaurants, cafes, fish mongers,pottery and gift shops also available.Nathan Outlaw has recently opened two Michelin star restaurants in the village, one of which is just 50 metres away from the house.There is a public house and hotel bar within a 5 minute walk.

  • Notes on accommodation: The open plan living accommodation is on the middle floor and benefits from the beautiful coast line views. There are 2 bedrooms located on the ground floor and the bunk room and double bedroom are situated on the top floor. All rooms, except the rear ground floor bedroom have extensive sea views. Outside: Outside, there is a private enclosed patio area which is in partial sunlight for most of the day. There is an electrical point and out door dining table and chairs to seat up to 8 people. Utility Room: n/a Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A professional laundry service is provided which includes clean bed sheets,pillow cases, duvets and 2 towels per person(1 large and 1 small). The house is professionally cleaned prior to each arrival. Other: Independent, internal balcony off the living area with table and 4 chairs. Bi Fold doors open up to give stunning sea and cliff views out towards Tintagel.
