Apartment in Puerto La Duquesa, Costa Del Sol, Spain - Huge Balcony With Sea Views And Barbeque Area

Luxury modern apartment directly above the pool area with fantastic views of the sea and golf course. Direct access to peaceful and enclosed (child friendly) communal gardens with 2 large swimming pools (a further 7 communal pools in the complex) plus sunbeds and umbrellas. A huge private balcony with Barbeque and dining area (not over looked by neighbours due to elevated design) south facing with private sun loungers on balcony also. The complex is also very secure with 24hr security guard at the entrance and locked gate access to each block.

Puerto de la Duquesa is a beautiful cosmopolitan marina which stands between 2 blue flag beaches. Situated between Gibraltar (approx. 30 mins) and Marbella (approx. 20 mins) with Malaga only 45 minutes away all travelable by car. Puerto de la Duquesa has a large number of bars and wonderful restaurants with a wide choice of international cuisine. Bordering Duquesa is the larger resort of Sabinilla's, which has a very Spanish feel. Here you can find a large number of beach bars and tapas restaurants situated along the picturesque promenade. Beautiful beaches are also a 10 minute walk downhill with further views that run as far as the eye can see. Duquesa is also known for its Golfing with many award winning courses within walking distance or just a short drive away, the Duquesa Golf complex being the nearest which is just 2 minutes away.

Outside: The garden area is in an elevated position with far reaching views of the sea, swimming pool, gardens and golf course. There are 2 communal pools in this area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade. There is also a shower/toilet block by the pools. Utility Room: Washing machine, with washing line for use Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and bedlinen are supplied. Welcome basket. The apartment is fully cleaned with full linen/towel change before occupancy. For longer stays, additional cleans and towel/linen changes can be arranged. Other: Very large terrace with table and 6 chairs BBQ and sun loungers

Excellent stay!! Highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend Mandi's place more highly. I went away with my husband and 2 year old and from start to finish we were relaxed. From Mandi arranging the transfers to making the place as baby friendly as possible I didn't have to worry about anything. The apartment is very well equipped an feels like a home away from home. The best part is the apartment is directly linked to the pool and to top it off the view of the sea makes this place so special. We liked it so much we will be booking to go back in a few months! 5 star rating.

Amazing place and fab holiday!

We had a fantastic holiday the apartment was very well equipped in a fantastic location. Nice and peaceful but only a short walk to bars and restaurants. Mandi was an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely responsive and ensured our holiday was hassle free. We are already planning our return!

I would highly recommend this apartment. Myself, partner and 2 kids had an amazing time. The apartment is lovely and spacious and clean. The balcony is lovely and big pictures don't do it justice. We can't wait to book for next year.

Fantastic apartment with spectacular views from a lovely terrace

The apartment is fabulous, with a terrace that is large , well equipped and furnished with patio furniture. The terrace gives wonderful panoramic views of the coast and countryside. The apartment is well equipped and furnished, with every need thought of! The terrace has steps down to a quiet pool that has plenty of sunbeds and a children's pool, neither of which were crowded during our stay in September. The port and beaches are a 15/20 minute stroll down the hill, with restaurants and bars lining the port and beach. We had a relaxing holiday and would love to return. We highly recommend this apartment and it's wonderful views and terrace.

Great apartment in a beautiful area. The terrace really does make this apartment even more attractive - it is large with space to eat, relax and sun-bathe.

Had a great stay in La Duquesa - it is a really relaxed with lots of good places to eat. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Super modern apartment with great views and a fantastic large external terrace.

Firstly we would note our host (Mandi) was fantastic and a pleasure to deal with. Prompt response to every query we made prior to our visit and went beyond all expectations when we had a key issue.

The apartment is just per the advertised photos and probably even better. Everything you may require has already been thought of. The outdoor space is exceptional and was perfect for our family of five (kids 5,8,9) needs. The pools are great and we had almost exclusive use of the one accessed directly via stairs from the terrace. To be honest we had no complaints whatsoever about the accommodation.

Would recommend a car but would also note we got by easily without one during our 4 night visit. Arriving late at night, we never fancied the drive from Malaga. However, for the second part of our holiday to travel elsewhere, I picked up a car back at the Airport and found the journey from Malaga is actually pretty straight forward using the A7 road.

The apartment facilities are such that there could be no need to go out at night. But with young kids to entertain we tended to make the fifteen minute walk to the marina and take a taxi back (8 to 9 euro). The marina has plenty of restaurants and bars including spanish, italian, mexican, indian , chinese and thai. There are also nice beach bars on the promenade in either direction from the marina. Sabinillas beach is about five minutes walk along the promenade where you will find numerous other dining options.

Lovely area to visit and would highly recommend this apartment. It was an area relatively unknown to us we but will definitely consider a return visit.

The beach and port are approximately 10/15 mins walk away down hill or 2 minutes by car.


Malaga airport is approximately 45 minutes away and Gibraltar airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended and can cost from only 5 euros per day, also we can recommend a local shuttle service from around 120 Euros Return from the airport

Further Details:

Sabinillas is the main town which is only 2 minutes by car away or 10 minutes walk. Here you will find your banks, supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a lovely sandy beach here with a promenade lined with restaurants and bars. The port of Duquesa is also approximately a 10 minute walk and has a cosmopolitan feel with numerous restaurants ranging from Spanish tapas to Indian, Chinese. Thai, Mexican, Argentinian and more. You also have Estepona and Soto Grande Ports both picturesque and under 10 minutes drive/taxi away with many many more restuarants to chose from within both
