Description

The Old Stores Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms)

The Old Stores sleeps four with 1 double and 1 twin. The dining room has patio doors opening onto the garden with patio furniture and its own private access to Monks Dale, here a stream runs by the side of the garden although it tends to dry up in summer. The comfortable lounge has a flat screen T.V. with D.V.D. and an open fire for those cooler evenings. The kitchen with it's back door opening to the drying area, has electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The bathroom has a bath with thermostatically controlled shower over. There is private off road parking to the side of your bungalow. The bungalow is close to the road so some traffic noise can be expected. The garden is a bird watchers paradise with a host of visitors to its bird table. Your dogs are very welcome and the garden is fully enclosed for their safety.

About Julie

We are Julie & Martin Burns.

We have both lived and worked in the area all our lives. In our spare time we love to go long walks right from our door step, enjoying to the full this wonderful area.

We take great pride in cleaning and maintaining the cottages our selves to keep them to a very high standard. Both cottages have been fully refurbished by us with great attention to detail.

Julie purchased this bungalow in 2006

Beautifully Quaint Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Rock View 4 times so far and I think that speaks volumes in itself. We love the area and have been visiting for more than 25 years, staying in various places and Rock View gives us all we need - it is very well maintained, the cleanliess makes you feel as though you are the first ones ever to stay, the walks are right from your doorstep, there is free off-road parking and everything you could need as a home from home. Julie and Martin are the perfect hosts, they are inobtrusive yet there if you need/want and provide all you could ask for with a welcome tray on your arrival to boot. We can and do thoroughly recommend!
