This superb family apartment in Elviria is situated in a secure gated complex which includes 3 pools, waterfalls, tropical gardens, gym and sauna. The luxury apartment has been designed to a high specification and includes a fully fitted kitchen, air conditioning and heating to all rooms. The lounge area opens onto a planted patio which overlooks one of the pools. To compliment the high specification the apartment has been furnished with quality Danish furniture (not Ikea) in all of the rooms. The award winning complex is a short stroll from one of the best beaches in Marbella which includes the Nikki beach bar/club adjacent to the exclusive Don Carlos Hotel. The best golf courses of Santa Maria, Santa Clara, Cabo Pino and Rio Real are only a short drive away. Local bars, shops and restaurants are only a short stroll away. The apartment is a 35 minute drive from Malaga airport. Marbella is 7km away and Puerto Banus is 12km away.

Notes on accommodation: The complex "Jardines de Don Carlos" is gated and has 24 hour security with video entrance to the apartment. Whilst the TV is connected to satellite the signal is not always consistent so no representation is made regarding SKY TV. Additionally, a varied range of DVD's are available. Outside: Beautifully maintained tropical gardens, 3 pools and waterfalls. Sun loungers are available by all the pools. Sauna with shower and toilet facilities. Access to the gym is available via the security guard. Utility Room: Bosch washing machine and separate tumble dryer, sink, water heater, ironing board, iron and drying rack. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: House towels and bed linen are provided. Beach towels are not provided, but may be rented for EUR5 each per stay. Other: The main patio area has alfresco dining and overlooks the pool. If you are tall, or stretch a little you can also see how close the apartment is to the sea.

Fabulous holiday

Just returned from a fabulous 10 night stay at this apartment. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Lovely complex with 3 good pools. Very conveniently situated, a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. We had a lovely relaxing time and would be happy to return.

Wonderful apartment, great location

Just had a wonderful vacation at the Jardines Don Carlos apartment. The place was very clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped with all the necessities for a relaxed stay. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the surrounding restaurants and shops. We will definitely book this place again.

Very comfortable

We were seven girls spending a long weekend in Marbella. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the closness to the beach, only 5 minutes walk, with nice restaurants, bars and wonderful Nikki beach :)

The bus stop was only 2 minutes walk from the apartment and you could easily get a cab from the taxi stop.

Cosy Appartment with terrasse and pool view

I stayed 5 days in this beautil bright modern cosy appartment. Already at key pick up the concierge welcomed us with smiling face and a helping hand. He also shared some usefull infos about what to do, what to see and where to shop. Given usefull infos as a first timer in Spain made the whole stay more relaxing.

The appartment was beautifull and had all (and more) facilities needed including fully equipped kitchen . So home made dinner while on vacation is possible too. Overall the property was clean inside AND out!

I enjoyed very much my breakfast on the terrasse with a beautifull overview of the swimming pool and creative garden. I LOVED the garden with it's many exotic plants and bright colours.

The location was just perfect and basically close to everything: nikki beach, shopping, cafes/bars/restaurants, markets etc. Also if you have a rental car you can do one day trips to Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada and pretty easy get around. The service has been good from booking , checkin and out.

I can only recommend staying at this appartment because of its many advantages. I know for sure that I will be going back 😀

We arrived late but that was and has not been a problem on any of the other 6 visits. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday, you can even rent beach towels. The apartment is furnished to a very good standard and overlooks two of the three pools. We enjoyed our staying in the apartment five consecutive summers now, that with a bit more free times we are going to go down to stay at the apartment for long weekends starting with this September. The great thing is it's a short walk to the Beach, Shops, Restaurants and short Bus or Taxi ride to Puerto Banus and other area's. Finally rental costs are great value.

This has been a five star holiday from the moment I booked it. All communication between myself and the owner has been fantastic, efficient and helpful. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady and shown around the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment was spacious, clean, tidy and in an extremely good, well maintained condition. It is in a perfect location for the pool, beach, shops and restaurants. I have already recommended this accommodation to several people and will be booking again for next year. It has been fantastic. Just perfect!!!

5 minute gentle stroll will take you to the best beach in Marbella. There are many beach bars and restaurants towards Cabopino in the east and Marbella in the west. The most famous being Nikki beach bar/club where you can relax outside on 4 poster beds and enjoy lots of music whilst topping up your sun tan. Jetskis, paddle boats and canoes are available to hire along the beach as well as sun loungers and sun shades.

On a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the coast of Africa.


Malaga airport is a 35 minutes drive away. Car hire is available at the airport or locally. Taxi cabs are also available at Elviria commercial center, a 5 minute walk away. A local bus stop is a 5 minute walk away.

Bus services are cheap and excellent.

A bus runs from airport to center of Marbella (direct, no stops) and either a local bus or taxi can then be taken to access Elviria.

An alternative is to catch a train from the airport to Fuengirola then take a taxi/ local bus to Elviria.


For anyone wanting to explore further Gibraltar is 1.5 hours away by car. Granada or Seville are 2 hours by car. A trip into the mountains to visit the historic town of Ronda is 1.5 hours by car. Marbella centre is 15 minutes away. Puerto Banus, 22 minutes.

You can walk to Cabopino, left, and Marbella, right. Stops for drink/food are scattered alongside the sandy beach. I stroll for an hour to my favorite place and sit and drink/eat and watch the lapping waves, and people walking by.

Further Details:

Local supermarkets, banks, shops, bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. La Cañada shopping complex near Marbella is only a short drive away and has a wide choice of shops and eating places. A 24 hour pharmacy is a few minutes drive away along the main road to Cabopino.

Refundable Damage Deposit £131.66

Booking Notes:
50% deposit (non-refundable) payable on booking to a designated bank account with the balance due a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. Failure to pay any such balance when due will result in the property being re-advertised and your booking lost. A refundable deposit of EUR150 is required to cover breakages and damages. EUR50 cleaning fee is payable upon final payment. It is hoped that you leave the property in the state that you would wish to find it upon arrival.

Changeover Day:
Departing Guests should leave the property by 14.00.

Arriving Guests may occupy the property from 18.00.
