Being totally refurbished but retaining many original features Courtyard Farm cottages offer perfect holiday accommodation. Converted from farm buildings around a central courtyard in 10 acres of land in this area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many lovely walks on your doorstep with beaches and fishing harbours just a short car journey away. Courtyard Farm is situated at the head of the Valency Valley within easy reach of one the most beautiful and dramatic coastlines in England. The cottages were once a 17th century mill, now lovingly converted into quality holiday accommodation. The North Cornwall Atlantic Coast includes over 60 miles of spectacular cliffs, beaches and coves. We are ideally located for anyone wishing to explore this beautiful coastline, or venture inland and discover the many towns and villages that are steeped in history and legend. Only a short distance away are many stunning beaches including Trebarwith and, Daymer Bay, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven and Polzeath. Bossiney Beach and Strangles are approached, like many Cornish coves, by dramatic cliff walks. Port Isaac is a quiet picturesque fishing village, in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the popular harbour at Padstow. Also nearby is Tintagel with its old Post Office and legendary King Arthur's Castle overlooking the sea, just waiting to be explored. Take a stroll around the shops in Wadebridge and hire a bicycle to ride along the Camel Trail. Venture onto the rugged landscape of Bodmin Moor, steeped in history and ghost stories. Further along the coast is Bude, with excellent leisure facilities, beaches, shops and an 18-hole golf course.
A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 28 days before the start of the holiday.
Mill End is a Friday changeover, Cobblers and Pine are Saturday changeovers.
Courtyard Farm Cottages is a fantastic place to base yourself for a Cornish adventure. The whole place is kept immaculate, both inside and outside of the cottage. We stayed in Pine which is incredibly comfortable and exactly what we needed. The raised deck at the back of the cottage has the most amazing views across the valley and to the sea in the distance, a fantastic place to eat your breakfast in the morning! Sean is also an incredible host, on hand if needed but equally will leave you to it if not. Special mention must also go to the play equipment which is a particular favourite with my daughter, especially the trampoline! Overall it's fantastic, we certainly can't wait to go back!
Owner was there to greet us when we arrived .... Cottage was lovely with beautiful views .... Dogs loved the walks 10/10
We had a great time staying here. Very homely feeling when we arrived. Accommodation was to a high standard and it was great that we were able to bring our dog with us. We will definitely be returning and would recommend a stay to others
Upon driving down a very narrow lane following our Sat Nav hoping nothing would com the other way, we arrived at the Courtyard Farm and we were pleasantly surprised by the views across the fields towards the coast and even more impressed with the standard of the accommodation. The weather was good to us which helped to make our weeks stay of coastal walks a wonderful experience. The cottage was in a peaceful and tranquil position and if we returned to the same area we would not hesitate in booking again.
First holiday with our twin daughters (5 months) and eldest daughter (2 yrs old). Great cottage, with everything we needed. It was the perfect size, and the wood burner was a lovely touch in the evenings. The weather didn't allow us much use of the balcony, but the cottage has lovely views. All the major attractions in Cornwall and no more than a 45 minute drive away, and despite the inclement weather, there was no shortage of things to do. We would definitely stay here again.
