Apartment in Nice, Alpes Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote DAzur, France - Perfect Location Within Easy Reach Of The Promenade Des Anglais And Train Station

The location of this lovely, comfortable studio with its bright, open aspect and roomy balcony couldn't be better. On one side of the well-maintained building, there's an entrance through peaceful gardens that leads directly to the Promenade des Anglais. You could pop out for a morning swim or run before coming home for breakfast on the balcony! On the other side, a second entrance leads to the popular rue de France, with plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. The train station is a 10-15 minute walk away, offering easy access to coastal towns along the Riviera, and Monaco. There are also several bus stops nearby for routes that can take you to Grasse, Cannes, Menton, Vence and other beautiful towns and villages. The studio itself is bright and quiet, on the second floor (with lift) of a building set in gardens away from the bustle of the Promenade des Anglais. The good quality, Italian-made sofabed pulls out with one tug into a proper double bed. You can see the sea from the balcony, which has a table and two solid wooden armchairs with cushions. There's also a parking garage within view, but it's neither big nor noisy, so it's easy to forget. Thanks to this studio's ideal location and practical set-up, you could spend the day here pottering comfortably, or you could be off exploring - or both! The kitchen is equipped with all the basics for holiday cooking, and there's wi-fi, and a TV with DVD player and some DVDs.

My husband is from Nice, but after 30 years of living in London, he's sort of a Frenchman with an English accent, and I'm a Londoner with a slightly American accent. We talked about moving to Nice for more than 20 years, but the opportunity didn't arise until two years ago, when Joel went into business with his sister here. We miss London, but waking up to blue, blue sky nearly every day makes us happy. We know it makes other people happy, too - which is why we decided to buy this studio apartment with its lovely balcony and share it with our friends - and with others, too. I've been exploring Nice and the Cote d'Azur ever since we arrived, and I really believe it's one of the most magical places in the world!

This studio offers everything that makes Nice such a wonderful place to be: go out one door and you can be at the beach within moments, go out the other and you've got a great French city full of restaurants, shops, markets on the other. Within an easy walk of the train station, too, means you can discover the Riviera on day trips... all ending with a peaceful aperitif on the balcony.

What makes this apartment unique

When you're on the balcony at this pretty studio, just look to your right: you'll see the Negresco hotel, where guests will be paying ten times as much as you are! Ok, ok, it's not exactly the same, and you can see a garage as well as the sea, but it would be hard work to find such a perfect, peaceful, comfortable location in Nice at this price!

The apartment is cleaned before each arrival, but there is no maid service during your stay. Great position

This is a great studio apartment with a sea veiw but without the noise of the main road.Its well equipped for holiday cooking and theres a small supermarket just around the corner.Well situated for many restaurants and shops and a short walk along the promande to the old town. We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and would highly recommend it.

The flat was lovely and Suellen was warm and welcoming.

The flat was located about 10 min walk from Old Town and 15 min walk to the train station. There is a bus stop right around the corner and a view of the water (which is right out back; a 2 min. walk). Can’t wait for a return trip!

Hi. Suellen we had a wonderful time on our short visit but did manage to see all the interesting places that you mentioned like Antibes ,Cannes & Monte Carlo .The location of the apartment was very convenient to use the public transport ,shops and the restaurants near by .

Also it was well equipped and comfortable.

We would certainly consider visiting again in the near future perhaps late season when the temperatures are slightly higher

Good Value

Studio in an excellent area albeit with some noise and light irritation from the nearby 2 storey parking garage. The welcome was formal but efficient (no first names) but the owner went to great lengths to replace a second set of keys lost by the previous guest. Do not air clothes on the balcony, even on a clothes horse below handrail height. This is a building management dictum - not the owners.

Perfect base for a weekend in Nice

You will struggle to find a place to stay in Nice that will beat this apartment for location, charm and value for money. Less than a five minute walk from the beach and the main bars/restaurants. Suellen the owner is very friendly and welcoming providing hints and tips for the best places to visit on the cote d'azure. Highly recommended!

A perfect studio for two!

We have stayed in Suellen's studio before and will keep returning. Nice itself is a paradise and the studio is ideally situated for discovering the city and its neighboring environment. It is situated less than 150 metres from the Promenade des Anglais and the marvelous beach. It has lovely sea views and is in a quiet and lush park like garden. The studio itself has everything one could hope for - a small and practical kitchen, a most comfortable couch/bed and most of all a fine balcony with sea views.

Nice is one of our favorite places and Suellen's studio is the perfect solution for us. We are returning in October and are certain that this will not be the last visit!

The studio is less than two minutes' walk from the beaches of the Promenade des Anglais. Blue Beach is the nearest private beach.


Nice Cote d'Azur is the nearest airport (20 minutes by bus/taxi); Nice Ville train station is a 10-15 minute walk away.
