Amazing - We had the best time.

This accommodation was absolutely perfect for my family (2 boys aged 9 and 7). Everything was catered for and the apartment had a lovely modern, fresh feel. It did not feel dated or tired like the last apartment we stayed in. Really easy access to the harbour allowing my husband and I to have a drink in the evening. The communal swimming pools were well looked after.

Excellent apartmento!

We have stayed here for the last 10 years and have booked again for 2017. The new owners have made several improvements and we would not stay anywhere else in Menorca.

This is perfect for 2 couples and Rachael is a joy to deal with.

Lovely, clean and well equipped apartment in a fabulous location. Minutes from Cala Fonts with numerous bars and restaurants overlooking the harbour. Excellent communication from property owner and property manager very helpful.

Castell Mar apartment

Apartment was very clean and had all the mod cons e.g. dishwasher. Breakfast on the balcony was a real boon. Location couldn't be better a few minutes to the harbour at Cala Fonts/bus stop( 1.65 euros to Mahon)/taxis. Bar Espana , excellent value, and Bar Camacho for tapas.

This apartment is a lovely luxury stay . Everything you need is available, it's comfortable and welcoming.The property is clean and spacious set on two levels. The customer service from the owner and property manager is very good. It's situated right at the heart of the town and is an ideal quiet holiday hideaway!

Wonderful holiday in this beautiful spot

We had the most fantastic holiday in Es Castell and fell in love with Cala Fonts - such a beautiful little harbour and right on the doorstep. We were very comfortable in this spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished apartment - and really appreciated the shade on the balcony after a day sunbathing or sightseeing in very hot sunshine. We were soon on waving terms with the Belgian couple who live in the house opposite.

The pool area never becomes too crowded and there was always plenty of sunbeds. Many of the people staying in the apartments are owners who return every year and they were a very friendly group who offered lots of useful advice and tips on what to do and where to go.

Rachael was extremely helpful organising our stay and made sure we had everything we needed - as was Sarah, the manager in Menorca. I didnt want to leave after our 17 day stay and would go back tomorrow given the chance!

Location

From the Owner

We fell in love with Es Castell two years ago when close friends of ours offered us the keys to their apartment within the same complex so we could experience their love for the area. Walking onto Cala Fonts was the decider for us, what a fabulous place to sit, unwind and relax and with spectacular views. An array of bars and restaurants around the waters edge of the beautiful cove. Our apartment is a two minute walk from Cala Fonts. If you love good food and wine enjoyed in beautiful surroundings this is the place to be!

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Many beautiful secluded beaches can be reached by car/bus within 10-15 minutes away.

Travel:

The apartment is 15 minutes easy drive away from the airport. You may not need a car as the Town of Es Castell is on your doorstep and Mahon is a steady 30 minute walk away. Taxis are available very close by. Buses run every half hour into Mahon and the bus stop is a few minutes walk away from the apartment. There is also a water taxi available from cala fonts.

Distances:

Mahon is a 5-10 minute drive by car, 12 minutes by bus.

Further Details:

Outside the apartment complex is a good supermarket. Other shops, bread/cake shop, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlour and a pharmacy are a few minutes walk away.

Please email the owners. A non refundable deposit of 25% is required upon booking and the balance is due no later than 10 weeks before start of holiday. A refundable deposit of £150 is required to be paid with the balance of the holiday. This is held by the owner as security against return of keys, breakages or excess cleaning costs.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is a Monday. Access to the property is from 2pm. You are requested to vacate the property by 10am on day of departure.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
