Owned and managed by Husband and Wife Team, Darren and Gail Sykes, we live in Sao Bras de Alportel in the Eastern Algarve and have over 10 years experience of managing self-catering holiday rentals in this area. Excellent location, very clean and a chic design

Was exactly what we required and our host was excellent All queries were promptly responded to. Locations great in beside the village shop snd one of the many cafes on site. Prices in rhe Old Village for food snd drink were cheaper than in vilamoura itseld ! Went at a nice time of year as not busy but would have no hesitation returning again after the summer.

Absolutely wonderful

Myself and two friends were attending a wedding in the old town and wanted somewhere that we could stay for three nights close to the venue.

This apartment couldn't of been in more of a perfect location for us and having been in other villas this was by far the most modern and well equipped. It was like home from home. Both wash and pool towels were provided which was a great help. The bed was comfortable and although there was no air conditioning the fan was good enough.

It's in a central location to the restaurant in the village and a short walk to all pools.

It's only a 10/15 minute walk to the beautiful marina and a taxi is no more than €5 one way which is very reasonable.

I am already booking to go back next year :)

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Faro Airport at 12 Kilometres Car: not necessary


Faleisa Beach is situated within a 10/15 minute walk of the apartment, alternatively the Tourist Train and Old Village transfers (new for 2015) also provide access


Faro Airport is approximately 20 minutes by car. Car hire is not essential, however the apartment does benefit from free parking for those who choose to. We can arrange transfers to/from Faro with our Partner Company - please enquire for prices.


Marina - 10/15 minute walk

Beach - 10/15 minute walk

Golf - surrounding the Old Village

Supermarket - within Old Village

Further Details:

There is a Tourist Office located within the Old Village offering trips and activities to all of the major attractions that the Algarve has to offer.

Flexible changeover day subject to availability. Check-in normally after 3pm and departure before 10.30am - this may be extended subject to availability.

  • Notes on accommodation: Situated on the Ground Floor and located centrally within the Old Village and re-modelled in 2015 our apartment offers high quality, contemporary accommodation with modern fixtures and fittings to ensure that all of your self-catering needs are taken care of. The Old Village is surrounded by the 'Pinhal' Golf Course and is located approximately 10/15 minutes walk from the International Marina of Vilamoura and Faleisa Beach. For those who prefer not to walk there is a regular tourist train which operates to/from the Old Village and the Marina/Beach. Outside: Small covered outdoor seating area with table and chairs. Three large outdoor swimming pools with sun loungers (additional charge applies to all guests of the Old Village). Restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarket and children's play area all located within beautiful mature gardens. Free-parking is available on site but limited. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen, bathroom and beach towels are included in the cost of the apartment and are changed weekly. Other: The apartment is also equipped with iron, ironing board & clothes horse. Secure WIFI is available in both the apartment and throughout the Village. There is an additional small outdoor covered seating area equipped with dining table and chairs
