Apartment in Nerja, Costa Del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location Within Well Equiped Urbanization With On-site Amenities Pool Shop Bars Restaurants

Our newly refurbished and fully equipped apartment is one of the few with air conditioning and has wireless internet access available. It is set in a quiet location within the urbanization of San Juan De Capistrano, within its own private walled garden and sun terrace, containing flower boarders and an orange tree, yet is within a couple of minutes walk of the swimming pool, restaurants and bars. The large south facing terrace, accessed by sliding patio doors from the living room, provides beautiful views of the Mediterranean and the whole of Nerja. Our air-conditioned (essential during July/August) property also has Wireless Internet access available, Sky TV and DVD player. The living area/bedrooms and bathroom are all on one floor, and accessed from the garden and terrace, via a short flight of stairs, so may be unsuitable for those with walking difficulties.

The apartment has a newly refurbished bathroom with walk in shower.

The bedroom has french doors that open out onto the rear of the property having a seating area consisting of table and 4 comfy chairs giving you shade in the warmest months.

We have a large BBQ on the terrace which is a winner with previous guests.

My Husband and I live in Doncaster.

My Husband has been visiting San Juan De Capistrano for 14 years and we started holidaying in San Juan as a family 9 years ago. We fell in love with Nerja and San Juan and always dreamt of owning our own holiday home there.

After a horrendous holiday last year, we visited San Juan for a few days to relax, un-beknown that we would find ourselves looking at apartments for sale.

As soon as we walked into our apartment we instantly fell in love, knowing we had found our dream second home.

We have become close friends with the people that work within the bars and restaurants of San Juan and dream of retiring there when the time comes.

San Juan is a beautiful urbanization of Andelucian style apartments 10 minutes from the centre of Nerja and the beautiful Balcon de Europa.

The award winning Burriana beach is a few minutes drive or a ten minute walk away.

Nerja has the maniana maniana feel to everyday, where you cannot help but relax with the sophisticated Spanish atmosphere.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has a beautiful garden with flower borders and and orange tree.

It is south facing so that you have sun all of the day but also shade with a sun canopy.

We are set in a quiet area of the urbanization within a few minutes walk of the main pool and bar area and are in luxury gardens.

Wifi is available along with everyday essentials:

Sky TV, large flat screen TV, washing machine, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, iron, hairdryer etc etc.

Clean, modern and private apartment with fantastic views

This apartment was perfect for us as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It was quiet, modern, clean and well-furnished and ideal for our week's stay. The sofa bed in the lounge was very comfortable, it slid back in to place very easily during the day and the air conditioning in the room was great. The TV had BBC channels which meant we could keep up to date with the Olympics when we weren't by the pool and the children could watch CBBC when they needed to have a bit of quiet time in the heat of the day.

We enjoyed many an evening sitting on the little outside seating area looking on to the lovely pink bougainvillea and twinkling fairy lights in the garden, and the expansive views of the sea beyond; it was the perfect place to enjoy a chilled G & T. The apartment is very private and secure and enjoys the privileged position of not being overlooked by any of the other apartments. The BBQ in the garden was also very welcome and we used this a few times during our stay.

The apartment is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, which is just behind the complex's little grocery shop and even in August we didn't have a problem finding sun loungers - but if you want some by the water's edge (which is helpful in watching the children) you need to go up at 10am when the pool opens to guarantee you get the spot you want!! The pool is very large and because of that it never seemed crowded, it was perfect for younger children with a shallow beach area and great for older ones with large deeper areas.

Sam, the apartment owner, was always very responsive to any queries we had and as our first booking on Owners Direct we were very impressed. Nerja is a lovely town and San Juan de Capistrano is a very pretty and well maintained complex - you can’t go wrong with this gem of an apartment. We will be back one day I’m sure!

peaceful haven for relaxation

You want for nothing, the property is well maintained with a well equipped kitchen. The area is lovely and peaceful. Ideal for winding down with a book on the porch. The pool area was not busy even in the school holidays and the restaurants have a nice varied menu. Have already booked to go back.

Great villa for self catering

A beautiful, historic looking development high above the town of Nerja with stunning panoramic views. The property is modern built, but with authentic Andulcian styling. The apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed and is at the rear of the property so stays cool. The main living area has everything you could need in a modern apartment and also has a large leather sofa that pulls out as a double bed. We stayed as a family of 3 (2 adults & 1 child) and had no problem with this. Always on hot water also a big plus with a kid!

The facilities within the immediate area are fantastic. Large swimming poll area and separate area with kiddies pool. Nice restaurants/ bars and a reasonable bus service for getting to town.

I found that the Lidl supermarket (8 euro by taxi away) was a nice addition to get home set up for the stay of 10 nights.

I cannot see how anyone who visits here would not enjoy every minute of it.

Beautiful appartment

Myself and 2 other girls stayed here for one week. We could not fault anything! An absolutely gorgeous appartment with everything you need. Very clean and homely. Also has a wonderful view from the balcony which is lovely to wake up to in a morning. I can't say anything about the place. I would definitely stay here again 100%!
