Notes on accommodation: This apartment is well suited to couples looking for a comfortable peaceful base to stay whilst exploring the true Lanzarote. Will accommodate 4 adults if booked together with sister apartment ref: C2745 Outside: The private courtyard garden has been planted with a variety of herbs so smells heavenly! There are 2 sunloungers with covers. A patio table with 2 chairs and a BBQ. This is a little gem of a garden which enjoys the sun from lunchtime to sunset. There is a pool on site but only accessible if booked in conjunction with the Poolhouse ref c2745. We have mountain bikes for guests use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen,towels and beach towels are provided. They are changed weekly Other: There is a space directly outside the Garden apartment for your car. In the main garden there is a seating area if you would like breakfast in the sun.

We have been to Lanzarote on a number of occasions and usually stay in Puerto del Carmen but decided this time that we would like something a bit quieter and more rural. We were not disappointed with our choice; this apartment was a real find. Everything was exactly as described, the apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Lots of extras too, like cool bags, toiletries and even hot water bottles! Richard and Julie were always on hand for a chat or to check if we needed anything. The local restaurant they recommended was excellent; well priced with generous portions. We had a car and could reach the nearest beach (Arrieta) in a few minutes. There are lots of other lovely places to explore in this part of the island and although we didn't use them bikes are provided.

We would absolutely recommend this apartment for anyone wanting somewhere away from the usual tourist areas. Thank you Julie and Richard for your hospitality - we shall most definitely come back.

Lovely apartment in rural surroundings

This is a lovely rural, self-contained apartment in a small village with a shop and several restaurants.

We found it to be clean, well maintained and spacious.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and there is an indoor dining table as well as one outside in the garden.

The bedroom is a very generous size with comfy king sized bed and walk in wardrobe. There's a great ensuite bathroom with large shower.

The location is ideal for cycling or walking, which was our interest. The local buses are good value and run through the village centre fairly frequently.

There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the north including the island, La Graciosa.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and ensured we had a great holiday.

We'd recommend this apartment to couples wanting to get away from the bigger resorts and explore this lovely part of the island.

relaxing holiday

This is an amazing apartment. We had a fantastic holidays there. You can find everything you need. Well equiped kitchen, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with nice garden and furniture, lots of dvds and books. The surranding area is peaceful, enjoyed walking and hiking every day. Amazing Apartment

This is an all-new spacious self catering apartment. and the best of many we have ever stayed in. Having previously holidayed in the neighbouring Poolhouse, we know Julie and Robert to be excellent and reliable hosts (the visitors book there is full of their praise from numerous guests) Even on the hottest of days the apartment stays refreshingly cool, its also quiet so no problems to totally chilling out here. Lots of paperbacks and DVD's/CD's to hand should you choose to stop in... and good value restaurants within walking distance for eating out.

Autoriesen supplied us with a very nice inexpensive hire car from the airport.. so this apartment with its easy parking and nearby access to the north/south main road is a great base for touring the island. This is a fabulous value escape residence for the peace and quiet of rural Lanzarote

Maravilloso alojamiento, tranquilo y bonito.

Precioso apartamento, en un lugar tranquilo con vistas a los cultivos de cactus. El alojamiento estaba impecable y con todo los enseres necesarios. Tiene disponible bicicletas por si quieres dar una vuelta ya que hay numerosos caminos de tierra en la isla. Los dueños fueron atentos en todo momento. Sin duda si vuelvo a la isla volvere a este alojamiento.

Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

Bird watchers, cyclists and walkers will love the apartment. As will anyone looking for something that is a genuine Canarian village away from it all holiday.


The nearest beach is Arrieta, a 5minute drive or 25 minute walk away.


We are 25 minutes from Arrecife airport. You will need a car!


Mala is situated in the unspoilt north. Guatiza and the cactus garden are 5 minutes one way and Orzola the very northern tip is 15 minutes drive away with ferrys across to la Grciosa. We are also 5 minutes drive down to Charco del Palo which is the naturist resort.

Further Details:

There is a small local shop, Chemist, medical center, two Bar/Restaurants and the local social club that every village has.
