Holiday Cottage In Sedgeford, North Norfolk Coastline Within 5 Miles

Overview

Property

Updated: 06-Dec-2016
Cottage in Sedgeford, Hunstanton, North Norfolk, Norfolk, England - Idyllic North Norfolk Village Setting, rural views and close to Brancaster Beach and Sandringham.

Field Cottage is a comfortable old Victorian Railway workers cottage which has recently undergone a refurbishment plan but has retained many original features and includes the use of a newly installed wood burner. The property enjoys a large enclosed garden with a small lockable out house which you can easily store bikes in. From the back of the house and garden you can enjoy beautiful countryside views. This is a friendly, charming historic village with pub. Nestled close to Brancaster, Thornham, Titchwell Marsh, Peddars Way and much more besides. A great base to see what North Norfolk has to offer. Why not take advantage of the two adult bikes available for your use and ride out to the deli at Thornham for lunch. Sedgeford also has an on going Archaeology project and welcomes volunteers, website SHARP for details. Titchmarsh Nature Reserve is a favourite of ours and their website gives you details of recent spotting's.

About the Owner

I fell in love with North Norfolk many years ago and finally persuaded my owners to buy a holiday cottage near to my favourite beach, Brancaster. Hope you will book our home for a visit, my owner has spent lots of valuable walking time making improvements and decorating throughout, oh my owner is called Debs by the way, she is also very enthusiastic about the area and what it has to offer.

Congratulations to Debbie and Steve - they provided everything you could possibly need for an extremely happy and relaxing holiday. The cottage was clean, cosy and well positioned for exploring the North Norfolk Coast. Highly recommended.

Simply Excellent

  • 5 of 5

Difficult to write a full review when one word would cover it all, PERFECT.

The owner, Debs, is a lovely lady to communicate with and most helpful. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could conceivably need for a relaxing stay, excellently furnished and spotlessly clean and tidy. Add to that it's position which is a quiet location on the edge of a pretty village close to many interesting places to visit and what more can I say. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Thanks Debs.

Great little hideaway

  • 5 of 5

This cottage suited us, a family of three + one dog, perfectly. It's right on Peddars Way. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy, a real home from home and the owner provides all the domestic bits and pieces you might need. Highly recommended.

Idyllic village hideaway near north Norfolk coast

  • 5 of 5

Lovely well maintained and tastefully decorated terrace cottage with long garden (esp.for our small dog). All mod.cons.and very clean and comfortable.Ideally situated for visiting the many West and North Norfolk tourist attractions with some splendid pubs and eating places nearby eg.Lifeboat Inn,Thornham and Gin Trap Inn,Ringstead both recommended.Small supermarket and a village store both within short driving distance were very handy.

A lovely holiday in a lovely house!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Field Cottage. We self cater a few times each year and this is one of those rare properties that becomes "home" very easily and very quickly! The owners have thought of everything and have been most generous and thoughtful with their furnishings and additional touches. The patio was a wee suntrap and the long garden was great as it meant we caught the late evening sun - and our dog had a ball! There is a large scale framed local map on the wall which meant we knew how to explore the surrounding countryside (which is very pretty) - especially the lanes and field paths to Ringstead Village.
