Sea view 3 bed villa San Juan De Los Terreros, Almeria, Andalusia, Spain - 7 min walk to Beach / Restaurants

2 MONTH MINIMUM LET (3 MONTHS PLUS PREFERRED), PETS WELCOME. Traditional style fully modernized villa in a delightful quiet location yet an easy walk to various beaches (700 metres to Playa Nardos, Terreros). The beautiful established Mediterranean garden offers a high level of privacy to visitors and is ideal if you want an all over tan! All interior accommodation is on one level so this villa is suitable for people with limited mobility. This house is surrounded by a shady veranda on three sides, looking out on to bougainvillea, plumbago and various citrus trees, and providing guaranteed protection from the sun at all times of day. There is a spacious and fully equipped kitchen leading to open plan dining and living area. The dining area has patio doors on to the porch and garden and the living area has french doors leading onto the porch living area as seen in the photo. A doorway into the hall which then leads to all three bedrooms and both bathrooms. Bedroom two and the master bedroom both have en-suites. The en-suite to bedroom two has a separate entrance from the hall allowing it to also serve as the family/guest bathroom. The delightful garden offers numerous places to enjoy and there are both shaded and open outside dining areas complete with a mobile gas BBQ / grill.

This property is the perfect relaxing retreat for people who want to holiday close to the beach without crowds of people and no rowdy strips in site. The beach, is a five minute stroll from the villa where there is a local supermarket restaurant and amenities. The local town is a couple of minutes drive along the seafront with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and a weekly market. The villa itself is spacious with beautiful gardens and many terraces to barbecue, relax and dine. It is very private and very comfortable. There are many local beautiful beaches and small towns to explore nearby. Audrey was very helpful and efficient . Thank you Audrey for everything. Annette

Warm and relaxing winter break

We have just spent three weeks at this delightful and very spacious villa in much needed peace and tranquility. It is extremely well equiped both inside and outdoors for all seasons, and we enjoyed the luxury of the very efficient log burner when the temperature dropped during some evenings.The fruit trees in the garden were laden with grapefruit, mandarines and lemons, some of which were eaten with relish for breakfast! The views from the roof garden are stunning, with mountains at the back and views of the sea and coast from the front. The beach incidently is about a 15 minute walk depending on how fast you are dragged by the dog! The nearest beach bar was literaly on the beach serving meals and snacks as well as drinks. This area does not have a large number of British expats, and we were able to experience more of an authentic flavour of Spain, which we didn't find in the larger resiorts further south. The local beaches seem to stretch for miles in both directions giving plenty of opportunities for long walks.Our favourite places: the Sunday market at Villaricos and the Tabernas desert near Sorbus. Perfect holiday home. - highly recommended

Stayed in this house for a week in mid September.

Fantastic house, perfect for families. Everything you need for a beach holiday is provided - towels, chairs, books etc. Spacious, large rooms, 2 nice bathrooms, large fully-equipped kitchen - even had lots of ice in the freezer. Terrace on roof for all day sun, patios surround the house for shade. Lovely gardens. Quiet and peaceful but only 2/3 mins drive to the beach / shops / bars etc. About an hour or so drive from Murcia airport. IMPORTANT - car is needed. Good free WiFi connection and some English TV.

San Juan itself is small and fairly quiet, very Spanish but with quite a few expats. There are beaches and coves all along the coast in both directions. Golf and waterpark in Vera about 30 mins away.

Whenever I fancy a quick break in the sun I will be using this house.

Its called Mundo Aguilón and is in a stunning location near to Jaravia with extensive sea views. Its just 4km away from our house and easy to reach. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

San Juan de los Terreros has some thing for everyone. It has many beautiful beaches, peace and tranquillity in quiet coves or several family friendly beaches. We chose our villa for its privacy, rural atmosphere and large garden yet its a very easy walk to the beach, the best of all worlds. Watching the sun or moon rise over the sea from the roof terrace is an added bonus of course.

600 metres walk to nearest beach. 800 metres walk to the beautiful Calypso beach with its popular chiringuito. All other beaches in Terreros easily reached by short car journey. Mar de Pulpi commercial centre is 600m walk (restaurant, chiringuitos, ice cream parlour, supermarket, bicycle hire, canoeing, gym, yoga, Pilates). There are plenty of walks from the property and a walk alongside the beach as the sun rises is not to be missed!

Alicante - 200km

Train station at Jaravia just 7km away or Aguilas at 10km away.

Nearest motorway is AP7 at 10 kilometres away.

Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace just 240km away

There are weekly coaches to the main cities and a good taxi service but for best enjoyment it is advisable to bring or hire a car. There is ample space to park immediately outside this detached property.


San Juan de los Terreros has a weekly market every Sunday, the nearest town of Pulpi has a market every Wednesday and of course the port of Aguilas is just a short drive away. Granada is a scenic two hour drive away and a trip to the Aljambra can be combined with a day at Oasys Park in Tabernas en route (where many westerns were filmed).

Almeria city is one hour´s drive away.

San Juan de los Terreros has three supermarkets, numerous bars and restaurants, ice cream parlours, farmacia, Doctors surgery, cashpoint (nearest bank is 10 minutes drive to either Pulpi or Aguilas). Aqua sports, scuba diving, snorkelling, disabled access into the sea, tennis, football, outdoor gym, indoor gym, Pilates, yoga, FREE aerobics on the beach in July and August, Zumba.

The town square always has something going on every night during July and August, and there are FREE concerts up at the town Castle where you can just relax or choose to dine at the outside restaurant. The stunning views are not to be missed.

For VACATION RENTALS our prices include free wi-fi, pre-arrival cleaning, bed and bath linen and beach towels.
Electricity is charged according to consumption (meter read on arrival and departure with you). For Winter holiday lets logs are supplied for the log burner.
FOR RENTALS LONGER THAN 14 NIGHTS PLEASE NOTE that our prices do NOT include heating or electricity but do include wáter and wifi.
Dogs are very welcome but we do ask that they are not allowed to sleep on any of the beds or furniture. We reserve the right to purchase new bedding from your security deposit if we find dogs have slept on the beds. This is to prevent dog hairs getting in to the bed linen which other guests may not like. We hope you understand. We can provide dog beds if required.
For stays of 14 nights or less we charge 10 GBP per dog per week. For longer stays we charge a fixed fee per stay. This is simply to cover the additional cleaning time and cost involved.
Changeover Day:
We are flexible with arrival and departure times. For same day changeovers we do ask you to arrive after 16.30 and vacate by 10am to allow time for thorough cleaning and preparation between guests.

For PRE-BOOKED arrivals after 23.00 we reserve the right to charge an additional fee.

We require a 25% deposit by bank transfer to confirm your booking. The balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival. We do ask for a refundable security deposit of 250 euros or 200 GBP against damages payable by bank transfer and due with your balance payment. Please see Pricing Notes for further details.

  • Notes on accommodation: CH throughout this home but rarely needed in Winter other than using the CH operated heated towel rails in both bathrooms. , Hergom woodburner for cooler months and AC in living-dining area and master bedroom. This offers cooling in summer and almost instant warmth for early mornings in Winter. Pets allowed (additional cleaning charge applies). Outside: This house is surrounded by an established mediterranean style garden, you can pick your own lemons, oranges, mandarins, pink grapefruit, kumquats, sharon fruit depending on when you visit! There is a patio table and chairs on the roof terrace offering wonderful views to both sea, and mountains. There is a sofa, coffee table and easy chair on the patio seating area, along with a gas BBQ and dining table and chairs that easily seats 6 people. There is a further patio table and chairs. Cushions are available along with sun parasols (one of which you are welcome to take to the beach to save on your packing). Cleaning / Towels / Bed Linen : The property is cleaned and prepared before and after each rental. Bed linen, and towels are provided and included in price. Other: Large master bedroom with 160cm wide bed and space for an additional child´s (Z) bed and a cot. It has AC and ceiling fan. The double bedroom has a ceiling fan and twin bedroom has upright fan. All windows have mosquito screens
