Flat 2 Miller Bridge House is a ground floor apartment with private off street parking for two cars. The apartment comprises of a spacious hallway with plenty storage for walking gear, large lounge with uninterrupted views which is ideal for relaxing and taking time out. Off the lounge is a kitchen / dining room providing seating for four. Two double bedrooms each have a king sized bed and en-suite facilities. Miller Bridge House is situated a short walk across Rothay Park to the centre of Ambleside. There is a wide selection of walks and cycle rides from the apartment with Lake Windermere being only a 15 minute walk away , with a variety of boat trips and water sports.

Excellent property-good location-everything you can possibly need- except there were no instructions for complicated TV/dvd and no indication how unusual bathroom fans worked. Will definitely return!

The flat is like home from home!!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at Miller Bridge House - Flat 2, it was the perfect place for us. Good sized rooms, all rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. After a long day out enjoying all that the Lake District has to offer it was pleasing to go back 'home' and be assured of having a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Although the weather wasn't very kind to us, because we had such lovely accommodation it really didn't seem to matter what the weather threw at us!

We know it is very easy to say that "we will definitely be using this accommodation again", but on our next visit to the lakes this is the place for us. Our only disappointment in Miller Bridge House was....leaving it behind!! Many Thanks for allowing us to stay in your lovely home, Best Regards Geoff & Halina Day.

Ambleside has a wide selection of walking shops, independent retailers, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as convenience stores, cash points and a cinema. Close by are tennis courts, pitch and putt as well as a selection of cruises on Lake Windermere.

Bookings can be made by e-mail with a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation, with full payment 4 weeks prior to arrival. If booking is within 4 weeks of arrival we require the balance in full. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque.
A damage deposit of £100 will be taken when the balance is paid and returned once the property has been inspected.

Weekend and week breaks may be available in low season, please e-mail with your enquiry.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
