Villa in villa area Monte Judeu, Portimao with Huge Garden And Beautiful Views

The villa has air conditioning and a heated pool as well as a large mature garden encircling the villa. The villa is on a sloping site overlooking a valley with beautiful views over the countryside and beyond to the Monchique hills. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity and lots more, plus markets, shops and nightlife at Portimão, Alvor and Praia da Rocha, which are all within a 20 minute drive. For those wanting to keep away from the resorts there is a back road that leads to Figueira and Mexilhoeira Grande where small general stores, a chemist, post-office and a Bank can be found. The villa has been completely refurbished with new furniture and soft furnishings throughout. The interior is modern with a relaxed beachy atmosphere. The front door opens into a tiled hallway on the right of which is a TV room with plasma screen, various MEO, BBC and ITV channels. There is a double sofa bed in this room for 2 extra people. Ahead, round a corner opens the large sitting/dining room. The sitting room has a log burning stove and comfortable seating. To the left through a wide archway the dining area has a table and chairs and sliding glass doors out onto the part covered terrace. This terrace has a built-in barbecue, as well as a gas barbecue, a fitted sink and a wooden dining table and chairs for outside meals. Alongside on this terrace is a comfortable sitting area and there are splendid views from here across the swimming pool and on to the hills in the distance. There is a metal gate on this terrace to prevent small children going down the external stairs that lead to the pool.

Back in the living room an archway opens into the fitted kitchen, equipped with large fridge freezer, large cooker with 2 electric hot plates, 4 gas rings and a large gas oven, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is a table and seating in the kitchen for family meals. To the right of the sitting room is another hallway and a door out to the garden on the poolside of the villa. To the left of this hall is the main double bedroom with double bed and shower room en suite. To the right, first there is a twin bedroom, a good-sized room with French doors to a small terrace and with a shower room en suite. Then another big bedroom with three single beds and a bathroom en suite (with tub). All the bedrooms have wooden block floors and fitted cupboards. On the lower level beneath the villa are an outside loo and the laundry room with washing machine and drier. There is a clothes-drying area. The garage is closed for visitors as it stores the owner’s belongings but there is plenty of private parking space within the fenced and gated property. On the far side of the villa paths lead to the lovely pebbled, kidney shaped swimming pool. (About 12 x 5m). It is heated by a heat exchange unit and covered (see below for details). The pool is sheltered on one side by a high wall and there are sun beds for 8 people. Beyond the pool is a shady barbecue area, with a wooden roof, table and stools and another built-in barbecue. The total property is 7,000m², but not all of this is cultivated. The garden is full of interesting plants and shrubs and an orchard with various fruit trees.

A beautiful villa in an idyllic setting that has everything in triplicate. The property is in a secluded area so you will need a car. It is beautifully maintained by a very professional management team. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely house and beautiful view

This is a charming villa situated close to the coast but far enough inland to be away from the crowds. The setting is wonderful. Everything worked perfectly and we would love to come back.

Notes on prices:
The rents are in pounds sterling for 7 people in the villa; extra people are from £55 to £70 per head p/wk according to the season.
Pool heating is included from 17/03 - 22/06 and from 01/09 -03/11/2016. It is an extra £100 a week from 23/06 - 31/08/2016. A pre-heat week costs £80 if not rented before your stay. There are individually controlled air conditioning units throughout the villa except in bathrooms and kitchen which are included from 23/06 - 31/08/2016. It is an extra £100 per week from 17/03 - 22/06 and from 01/09 -03/11/2016. Sofa bed in the TV room is for 2 people.
We do ask for a security deposit of £400 either in cash on arrival or by bank transfer 2 weeks before your visit.

We request 25% booking deposit. The balance payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
