We've just come back from a 3 night stay at Serendepity and we could not have asked for more! From the warm welcome from Julie and Dave to the exceptional quality of the property. Finally we have found a 5 star property that is truly dog friendly. As soon as we got there they were given throws to make them feel at home and a tub of treats to keep them happy! We highly recommend this lovely place set in the tranquility of a small village with excellent dog walks from the door and very helpful owners. Julie and Dave, we can't thank you enough and hope to see you again sometime in the future.
Stayed here for a relaxing long weekend, the property is lovely, very well furnished and equipped. The owner Julie and her Husband live just over the road and made us all, 2 adults and 1 dog, feel very welcome. There are lots of lovely walks at the rear of the cottage for dogs and the surrounding countryside was fantastic. Didn't venture too far away, the Berkeley Arms pub in nearby Purton is well worth a visit, a fantastic old pub right on the river. Would recommend and will definitely be back
We have just returned from an enjoyable, long weekend in Halmore. We loved the bungalow; airy, clean, contemporary, comfortable, well equipped and well maintained.
We would have no qualms about recommending Serendipity as a base for exploring the area. Julie and her husband could not do enough for us and on her recommendation, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Tall Ships Festival. Well worth visiting!
We have just returned from an enjoyable long Bank Holiday weekend, staying at Serendipity. The property was absolutely perfect for our stay. Clean, airy, comfortable, well-equipped and well-maintained are just a few words to describe this property. We have no qualms about recommending this property as a base for those visiting Gloucestershire.
Excellent location for Berkeley Castle, Edward Jenner Museum and Slimbridge Wildlife Park. As they are all within a short distance of Halmore village. A very comfortable stay in this property. Very clean and lots of space. Nice comfortable bed which makes all the difference when on holiday to get a good night's sleep. The only thing that was missing was a freezer to put ice cream in, but other then that everything was perfect.
