Ground floor dining room, sitting/television room, both with open fires and a large conservatory. Outside there is a spacious garden with a lawn and two patio areas. Ground floor wet-room with with W/C and spa shower. First floor bathroom with W/C and Jacuzzi bath. Full central heating and laundry facilities.

Why Simon Exelby chose Shropshire

This was our family house where our children grew up before we moved back to London. Shrewsbury is a fantastic place with everything you could want from a County Town.

All the facilities of the town centre are 10 minute walk away, with local shops closer still.

The property is currently being refurnished, we will update the photos over the next couple of weeks.

Great location but filthy

Shrewsbury

  • 5 of 5

A lovely, sizeable house with four bedrooms, a short walk from the town centre. It has a spacious, well lit conservatory, where we spent most of our time, with access to a large garden where we also sat when the sun came out. Shrewsbury is delightful especially the walk along the Severn and the centre with all the Tudor style buildings. It is also a very good jumping off point for Chester and Ludlow, and for some excellent walking - Long Mynd etc.

This was our family house where our children grew up before we moved back to London. Shrewsbury is a fantastic place with everything you could want from a County Town. All the facilities of the town centre are 10 minute walk away, with local shops closer still. The property is currently being refurnished, we will update the photos over the next couple of weeks.

Activity and Interests

Distances:

Shrewsbury town center 10 minute walk. Local shops less than 5 minutes walk, Asda supermarket less than 5 minutes walk.

There is parking directly outside the house which has a 3 hour time limit and three hour non return Monday to Saturday. This means that you can park overnight if you are off by eleven. You can also park after 3 in the afternoon, through to 11 the next morning. There is unrestricted parking 50m away on Betton Street and Old Coleham. If all else fails there is a cheap pay and display 150m away. In 15 years of living at the house we have never had to use the pay and display. Please see the map for details.
