Apartment In Puerto De La Duquesa, Costa Del Sol - Peaceful Location - 5 Minutes Walk From The Beach

This beautiful 3rd floor apartment is overlooking the beautiful hills and down to the sea. It is decorated and furnished to the very highest of standards and benefits from a brand new fully fitted kitchen, air-conditioning/heating and freeview TV. The apartment has access to the balcony from both bedrooms and the lounge which makes it ideal to relax with a glass of sangria while you catch the last of the evening sun. It also benefits from a private rooftop terrace which has spectacular views in every direction. We can also arrange group bookings as we are in touch with other owners on the complex.

Two bedroomed top floor air-conditioned modern apartment with dual aspect

balcony and upper roof balcony space available for 360 degree sun

worshippers! Apartment has private underground secure parking space with

lift access. Lovely swimming pools ( lifeguard monitored ) with landscaped

gardens ideal for sun bathing in secure grounds. Very comfortable beds

which is a bonus with this apartment! Beach is 5 minutes walk away over a

pedestrian foot bridge. Car is a necessity here as shops/restaurants are a

40 minute walk away. Location ideal for a day trip to Gibraltar - 25

minutes away. Shopping in La Canada, Marbella is excellent. Locally La

Duquesa has a lovely marina area with many restaurant options and can be

reached along the beach front by a designated walkway. We flew to Malaga

and the apartment is a comfortable one hour drive from the airport. Support

from the apartment owner and his on-site representative was first class

from start to finish. I would return here and will recommend it to family

and friends for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

The apartment and location were perfect for our needs. We stayed at the Alboran Hills Apartment in August 2016 and we were more than pleased.5 minute walk to beach and close to the lovely port of La Duquesa.25 min drive to gibraltar.If there was a downside it was the lack of wifi as we have a teenage son but that is it. Would recommend this apartment...car essential

Most enjoyable. Apartment spotlessly clean and comfortable.

A very pleasant well kept block of apartments. We were welcomed by the property/letting manager who showed us the underground garage, the various facilities accompanied us to the apartment. He took the time to give a summary of local places of interest.

While the apartment is compact it is well equipped and very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. The compact kitchen is very adequately equipped.

The pool area is tastefully set out and the service of a life guard is reassuring especially for those with children.

The complex is easily reached from Malaga. Puerto de la Duquesa , a charming marina village is around five minutes away by car or around 15 minutes walk. It has a wide variety of good restaurants The dual carriageway makes for ease of travel to Gibraltar , Marbella and the little hamlets in the hills.

We have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends or relatives.

lovely break

I stayed with my husband & two children, we had no difficulty finding the apartment even though we arrived at night (although we did have a sat-nav & I think this is essential, made finding apartment easy & also made a couple of trips into the countryside easy too!!) Apartment was fresh & clean & had everything we needed, beach is close but bring old trainers/gutties as its a bit stoney! Overall we had a great time & would definitely return - Lovely apartment in a Lovely part of Spain

Activity and Interests

Car: necessary


The beach is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The beach is a nice clean sandy blue flag beach ideal for sunbathing and the kids. There is also a beach bar which sells food and drinks. There are many other blue flag beaches to choose from, all are just a short drive from the apartment.


Malaga Airport - 60 minutes, Gibraltar Airport - 30 minutes. Car hire or use of car is recommended.

There is a bus service just below the complex which serves the local area once an hour.


Puerto de la Duquesa - 2 minutes drive

Sabinallas - 3 minute drive

Estepona - 10 minutes drive

Puerto Banus - 30 minute drive,

Marbella - 35 minute drive

Benahavis - 35 minute drive (lovely restaurants)

Further Details:

Duquesa is full of nice places to eat. There are lots of restaurants around the port and they are open all day and late at night. There is a cash point in Duquesa. There are also lots of bars and a night club in Duquesa.

There are several banks in Sabinallas & a lovely beach with lots of bars and restaurants.

There is a supermarket 1 minute from the apartment. If you go to Sabinallas then there is choice of several supermarkets including Lidl's. Estepona has lots of shops and there is also a large Carrefour supermarket as well.

It also benefits from underground secure parking and central air conditioning / heating. No smoking is permitted inside the apartment but is permitted on the balcony. Outside: The complex has lovely gardens and 2 communal pools. The small kids pool is open all year round but the large pool is only open between June and September. Sun shades and sun loungers are also available in the garden for sunbathing and relaxation. Communal shower facilities are available on the ground level. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean towels and linen are included. If you require a change of linen and fresh towels during your stay this can be arranged at the time of booking for an additional cost.
