Angelwood is a spacious and contemporary town house situated in the Warfleet area of Dartmouth, midway between the town centre and the castle standing at the mouth of the estuary. This holiday property’s interior is light and bright, with a retro-style design and contemporary fittings. From the top of the house there is an unusual, porthole-shaped window with a super view of the shoreline. Dartmouth is a lively town, with a wonderfully historic, maritime history, and the picturesque town centre has a superb selection of restaurants, bistros, pubs and interesting individual shops and boutiques. Dartmouth is a unique town nestling on the banks of the River Dart. From the quay, fishing trips and boat cruises up the river can be taken, or catch the ferry across the river to Kingswear on the opposite bank and catch a steam train into Totnes or Buckfastleigh. Along this stretch of south Devon coastline there are many lovely beaches for summer days and spectacular walks, pretty villages nestling down leafy narrow lanes and two beautiful National Trust properties to visit. Beach 1/2 mile. Shops, pubs and restaurants 0.3 miles away.

We spent an amazing week at Angelwood. The house & location are just perfect with parking being such a win in Dartmouth with only a short (5 min) walk into town. The local restaurants and pubs are just great and are very family and dog friendly.. The estuary is literally a minutes walk away from the house with great blue flag beaches at Blackpool sands.



Overall we had a fantastic holiday, the Owners couldn't of done more and we will definitely be back next year!

Didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Angelwood in Dartmouth and would thoroughly recommend the property.

It's location is close to Warfleet Creek and is a lovely 10 minute walk into town. You can also walk up to the castle in 5 minutes - it's an ideal location.

It is quiet and peaceful and the parking space is a real bonus.

The house itself is well appointed with trendy accessories and high quality contemporary oak furniture. It was warm, bright and comfortable and lends itself to families.

Being able to take our dog was a real bonus!

Thanks so much - we'll be back for sure and can't wait till next time

Perfect!

We were a group of 5, two couples and a friend plus dog. We had a fabulous stay at Angelwood. The property was warm,clean and well presented and had everything we needed. Having three bath/ shower rooms worked really well for our group.

The location was perfect for us being midway between the castle and the centre of town felt like the best of both worlds. We had travelled in two cars so used the allocated parking but had no trouble finding visitor parking for the second car.

We enjoyed the beautiful walks to and around the castle with the dog and also found the walk to and from the centre of Dartmouth with it's many pubs and restaurants to be easy and very pleasant. A fabulous week in a fabulous property.

It was just what we wanted for a perfect week It was modern clean well equipped with easy access into Dartmouth and the beautiful beaches like Blackpool Sands We felt inmediately at home I would definitely recommend it and hope to rent again in the future As I will shortly be house hunting I just wish I could have taken the house with me

Ideal location

This absolutely beautiful home is in an ideal location, very quiet and all the amenities that Dartmouth has to offer close at hand. It is a leisurely stroll into the town. (10 to 15 minutes depending how quickly you walk!) The area is a walker’s paradise with some wonderful walks straight from the cottage. This is a real bonus, as we did not need to use our car at any time during our stay.

The whole cottage has a wonderful contemporary feel to it. The web site photographs are a true reflection of what the cottage has to offer. Visitors will not be disappointed.

The kitchen is extremely well stocked with crockery, utensils and very modern appliances. There were some beautiful touches, the welcome pack of tea, coffee and shortbread biscuits were most welcome as were the range of washing up items. Everything was just right and really spotlessly clean. More than enough room for six adults to eat at the table together and socialise comfortably, in the lounge area. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable.

Overall we would thoroughly recommend this cottage. We had a fantastic short break and will certainly be making a return visit.

What a great place to stay!!

This is a lovely place to stay in Dartmouth!!! The house itself is superb and well equipped with everything you could possibly need (even down to the loan of a wind break for the beach). The location is ideal especially with a young family with a short walk to Dartmouth centre, parking right outside the house and with a short stroll behind the main pottery building a lovely little cove (to the right a little seating area) to relax in each evening. The owner Stephen couldn't have been more helpful if he tried. Overall a fantastic stay in a great house making a great holiday........the weather was good too!!

quality accomodation in a wonderful setting

A well proportioned and well set out holiday rental. We enjoyed a quality week away as an extended family; the house afforded both privacy and sufficient space for all. Lovely strolls and walks are easily accessable, as is the town of Dartmouth itself. Would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending to others
