Trevarthian is a well equipped comfortable detached family house with four bedrooms and 3 bath/shower rooms. It is three minutes walk from the shops and the renowned surfing beach of Polzeath.  It has wonderful views out to the beach and Pentire Point from the sitting room and has a garden at the back.  It has double glazing and full central heating which also makes it very cosy in the winter months.

About Julia Bourne

We bought this house in 2001 as our family have been coming here for holidays for about 90 years. Our grandchildren are the 5th generation to have spent their holidays in Polzeath. Trevarthian is a comfortable house with a wonderful views over Polzeath Beach (a three minute walk) and Pentire Point. The beach is very safe and there is great surfing there. It has full central heating and a log fire, so is equally cosy in winter.

What makes this house unique

Sleeping 9, the house has two double and two twin rooms, one with a truckle bed. It has all modern equipment with two bathrooms and a shower room.

Notes on accommodation: Two bedrooms are upstairs and two downstairs, so very suitable for two families sharing. We do not permit batchelor parties, or parties of teenagers. Outside: Outside there is a decking with table and chairs and a barbeque. In the garden there is an outside shower with hanging space for wetsuits and a washing line. Parking for 5/6 cars. Please note that dogs can only be accepted out of season. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble drier and sink Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included and the property will be cleaned before arrival and after departure. Other: Wi Fi is available and Telephone Money should be left at the end of the tenancy.

Wonderful family holiday cottage.

Located on Dunders Hill with amazing views of Polzeath beach and Pentire point from the living room. Easy walk to local shops and a great sandy beach ideal for children. Lifeguards on the beach and excellent surf, sand and rock pooling. Lots to do locally, good restaurants and local brass band one night a week during the summer. We enjoyed the beach most days but also cycled from Wadebridge to Padstow along the Camel trail and had a super walk to Pentire Point. We will be back!

The best views in Polzeath

This house is in the perfect spot with the most magical views. We had an amazing two weeks there and will certainly be going there again!

3 minutes walk from Polzeath Beach and the Cornish coastal walks.

Travel:

Newquay is the nearest Airport and is about 20 miles away. Bodmin Parkway is the nearest train station and is also 20 miles and takes about 45 minutes by car.

Distances:

Wadebridge 6 miles, Tintagel 13 Miles, Eden Project 23 miles, Boscastle 16 miles, Rock 2 Miles

Further Details:

Local shops including supermarket are down the hill by the beach. There are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. There is a cash machine in Polzeath. The nearest banks are in Wadebridge - 6 miles
