Just 200 meters from the superb sandy beach at Harlyn Bay and Coastal Footpath. Harlyn Bay is renowned for safe bathing and good surfing conditions with golden sands, rock pools to explore and wonderful cliff top walks along the coastal path in both directions - especially beautiful in spring and early summer when fringed with wild flowers.

Excellent location for exploring the Cornish coast

Although we only had breakfast in the apartment it was very well equipped for cooking should you wish.. It was very clean and comfortable.. The gardens and outside drying facilities were good also. The only 'down' was the electricity was on a pay meter.. I wasn't aware that we had to pay but I may have misread the information when booking so could be my fault, but anyway it wasn't expensive. The location was excellent for the beach with the private path avoiding the road. The local pub served excellent food and was very friendly.. Beautiful beach with lovely coastal paths to walk.. Lots of other beaches close by to explore.. St merryn 2 miles away also has a good pub with excellent food, also with a Chinese take away and another restaurant and a grocery shop.. Padstow close by with more shops and cafes/restaurants. We had excellent communication with the owners when booking, arranging arrival times and sorting out the payment.. All in all a good property and we would definitely go back..

A lovely apartment close to Harlyn Bay

This is a lovely little apartment situated just a 5 minute walk from beautiful Harlyn Bay. Step outside and there's a small garden and play area. Just down the road to the beach there's the Harlyn Inn which serves good food and takeaway pizza.

The only minor negatives were the lack of a washing machine and a weak wi-fi signal.

We'd happily return.
