Brillaint Cottage in a lovely village

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here while we worked locally for 9 days, and its a brilliant cottage. Kitchen was large and living areas where very comfortable.

Would highly recommend for any large parties, for work or leasure. We will hopefully be staying again in the future.

Great property in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a property for a family get together (6 adults & 2 children & a baby) and this property really fitted the bill. From the pictures & description it appeared great & in reality it exceeded our expectations, -- modern but with character, lots of space & good facilities. Really great spacious kitchen. The garden was fantastic, spacious and with lots of mature trees surrounding it to give privacy. The Hot Tub was a real bonus for the younger adults & older children. Good location for visiting the coast & the North York Moors. Would certainly go back. Thanks.

Fantastic, well equipped holiday house

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here during the May half-term, there were 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children under the age of 5. The house felt really spacious even with this number of people staying. There are two separate living rooms and the kitchen-diner is really big too with 8 of us easily seated round the table. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and there is a huge fridge so it is perfect if you want to eat in a lot. There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble drier which is very handy. The bedrooms are all great sizes and there are 3 toilets which helps when you have a big group staying. The owners provided a cot and high chair which was really appreciated. The garden is beautiful and the children loved playing in it. There is also a hot tub which is really the icing on the cake! The beach at Hunmanby is a short drive away and is a huge, sandy beach which is good fun at high tide and low tide and we went there most days. We used the house as a base to visit other places including Scarborough which is really close, Whitby - a lovely drive across the moors from Scarborough and inland to Pickering, Rievaulx Abbey and also the moors at Goathland, another picturesque drive. The whole experience was really good.
