About the Owner

We moved to Hill Barn from Camberley in Surrey in July 2007, together with our twin daughters and dog and can honestly say that we have never looked back.

We are a friendly bunch and always look forward to welcoming guests to Hill Barn. We are continually maintaining and updating our cottages to ensure they are a true “home from home” for our guests.

Clean, cosy and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

Had a pleasant week staying at the Bower, the location and views were fantastic.

The lovely cottage was spotless and very cosy and maintained to a high standard, we found the cottage to be well equipped with everything you needed and more!

After a very long journey due to traffic and weather conditions we arrived to a very warm welcome from the owners, a warm and inviting cottage with all the little essentials that you would normally have to get in before you could unpack such as loo rolls, coffee, tea sugar and milk! Even a bottle of wine chilled in the fridge!!

We can't wait to return, and take friends and family with us to share the experience of the Bower at Hill Barn.

Thank you to Heather and Steve for the warm welcome, and letting us share your beautiful views.

Peaceful, comfortable & warm welcome.

  • 4 of 5

Apart from the peaceful, out-of-town location which is what I was seeking, the welcoming owners have thought of everything in this property. It is very comfortable & homely, with ample parking which was appreciated when my son & husband visited me & the property has it's own patio & garden which I enjoyed. Little touches like being left homemade cake & milk for my arrival, houseplants, hair dryer, DVD's, to name but a few - already I am looking at my diary for next year to see when I may be able to return here. Well worth its 'Star Rating'. The owners live next door with their lovely dog, which was comforting as I was by myself for the first 3 nights! I wanted peace & quite on the edge of Lyme Regis & that is exactly what I got:)
