Apartment in Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Centrally Located And Within Minutes Of The Town Centre, Beaches, Restaurants And Amenities

This 1 bedroom apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is fully equipped for your stay in Nerja. It is located in the well known Acapulco Playa front-line building in an ever-popular part of Nerja. It is on the second floor and there are two small lifts. The apartment benefits from a parking space although this is on a first come, first served basis. It is within very easy walking distance of the town centre with its bars and restaurants with some small convenience stores close by. The Balcon de Europa is around 5 minutes away on foot. It is close to a number of the town beaches and there is a taxi rank close by if you fancy venturing further afield. The apartment sleeps two people comfortably in one double bedroom (king size bed) with a sofa bed for a third. It benefits from large terrace overlooking the communal pool with sea views in two directions where you can enjoy your chilled wine and tapas at the outside dining table. We provide two sun loungers for use in the garden next to the pool.

Great apartment in great location

My wife and I stayed at this apartment in January this year. It was ideal for our needs. The view shown, is to the left of the balcony and gets the sun in the morning. Looking straight out from the balcony you look down Calle Malaga and then on to the sea. This gets the sun later in the afternoon.

Apartment is well located - only a ten minute amble to the balcon and the centre of town. Loads of restaurants and bars on Calle Malaga itself.

Only downside would be that the TV doesn't work very well -- the picture continually freezes , to the extent that it becomes frustrating and unwatchable. If this could be fixed - the apartment would be totally fantastic. It is only a minor gripe but there are evenings during a longer winter stay that you just want to relax and have a quiet night in.

Overall - a really nice apartment for two people in a really good location.

Sonny was extremely supportive throughout our stay, and a pleasure to deal with.

The pics don't do justice to this lovely apartment. Clean, well appointed with everything you need. The bed was as comfy as ours at home!

I didn't think I liked Thai food until Maggie & the chef at SanLang worked their magic. Maggie even organised a takeaway for our last night. Da Vinci also do gorgeous food.

We didn't get to meet Sonny as he'd got his hands rather full at the time but Maggie, & especially Peter couldn't do enough for us.Hope you got your tooth sorted Peter!

The balcony was large with the sea to the left & the road in front of you. Don't know how many hours we spent people (and Yorkshire Terrier) watching.

Back at work now so I've probably forgotten to include a lot of stuff but I'm happy for HomeAway to give my phone number to anyone who needs any more info.

Excellent central location, very clean & well equipped with everything for the week we stayed.

We had a great time in Nerja and would highly recommend visiting. Our apartment was situated on the corner of the block and from the balcony, which got the sun most of the day, we could see both the sea to the side and the street which was great for watching street artists.

. There are a lot of lovely affordable restaurants near by but I would recommend you don't miss going to Lan Sang the food is excellent and the staff very helpful. The grassed pool area in the complex is very pleasant to sit in and over looks the beach Playa El Salon below with views across to the Balcon de Europa, however the pool was quite cool and may not be the most suitable for young children.

Great apartment in a quiet but prime location

This was our first stay in this lovely apartment and we’ve already booked to go back next year.

The apartment is in a superb location, it’s only a one minute to walk to the church and Balcon yet it is in a really quiet spot. The views from the balcony meant I could look out over the gardens and ocean while my wife could keep an eye on everyone walking up and down to Torrecilla beach.

The facilities in the apartment are great, the aircon works well and the kitchen has more than enough equipment for any holiday stay. The gardens and pool area are really well maintained and have a great view over the Salon beach below.

The owner Sonny kindly arranged our taxis to and from Malaga airport making the transfers really easy. The taxi driver rang ahead to Sonny so he was able to meet us when we pulled up and then show us to the apartment.

Overall this is a great apartment in a much sought after spot. Finally the LanSang Thai restaurant owned by Sonny is opposite the entrance to the apartment and this was the best restaurant we visited on our trip.

Everything you need is provided in the apt. Internet, wifi and english channel tv an added bonus. Plenty of bed linen and towels. Pool is clean and great view down to beach playa salon from garden area although a 5 min walk to reach it. Owners restaurant Lansang is across the road from apt block and is excellent. Highly recommend apt and area in general. Its quiet but central.

Fantastic, comfortable apartment in good location

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean, and with everything we needed. The views from the balcony were brilliant. We hope to make a return visit and would highly recommend a stay. Also, everything, beaches, old town eating out, was within easy walking distance.

The welcome pack was very useful as was the arranged taxi to and from the airport. We had some wonderful meals in Sonny's Thai Restaurant just across the square was well worth a return visit as was the Italica in the Square just before the Balcon. Thank you Peter, Sonny and Patricia.

Activity and Interests


The El Salon beach is about 3 minutes away on foot and La Torrecilla about 7 minutes. Calahonda beach below the Balcon de Europa is about 10 minutes walk away.


The nearest airport is Malaga and is about 40 minutes away by motorway. There is no train or direct bus service so you are advised either to hire a car or take a taxi. The taxi fare is €90+ each way if you take an airport taxi. We can arrange a fare of €70 with a local taxi on request. You might also try www.holidaytaxis.com or www.hoppa.com.

You will not need a car within Nerja and can explore on foot.


There are some local sites within about 10-15 minutes drive of the apartment. There are the famous Nerja caves and the whitewashed village of Frigiliana, both well worth a visit. Granada and the Alhambra are about one hour away by car.

Further Details:

The apartment is within walking distance of many good restaurants and bars and there are two or three small convenience stores within 5 minutes of the apartment.

We are available to assist you on site, if need be, and will provide local contact details. Outside: The apartment has a balcony with a solid dining table and four chairs. It enjoys sunshine for most of the day from two aspects. There are also two light sun loungers on the balcony that you can use in the garden area/communal pool. There is a well maintained enclosed shared garden and communal pool for you use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will have been cleaned on arrival and will have clean bedclothes (on duvet) and fresh towels. Beach towels also provided.
