Treth Cottage - 4 Star -Perranporth, Cornwall, England - Treth Cottage

This historic terraced 3 bedroom cottage dating back to 1850 has a south facing garden, only 165 metres from Perranporth's popular sandy, surfing beach with towering sand dunes. Like many cottages, there are some doorways which have restricted height, however beamed ceilings and tiled flooring add to the character of the cottage. The rear entrance from the parking area takes you directly into the kitchen, providing an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine with a combined tumble dryer. Separate dining room with a dining table with chairs to accommodate six people.

Lounge: Electric wood burner, comfy sofa and three armchairs, TV with a combined DVD player. First floor: Bedroom one and two have double beds (4ft 6ins). Bathroom: Shower cubicle & hand basin (no WC). Separate WC. Second floor (restricted headroom) leading to bedroom three which has two single beds (3ft). Heating: Economy 7 heaters.

Garden at the front is enclosed: offering a good size lawn with an area to sit and eat al fresco (garden furniture supplied). There is a useful shed to keep bikes and beach equipment close to the parking area. Parking: for one large car or two smaller cars on the drive. Additional parking available at £3/day if booked in advance. Telephone available for incoming and emergency calls.

The north coast of Cornwall is exceptionally beautiful, with dramatic scenery and a unique landscape of mining heritage. Situated half way between St. Ives and Newquay, the village of Perranporth is an ideal base for exploring this stunning area. Close to St. Agnes, Truro, Holywell Bay and Crantock, it's an ideal location to enjoy numerous beaches with glorious coastal walks. Lappa Valley Steam Railway, National Trust Houses with gardens and the Eden Project are just a few attractions to mention which can be reached within a very short drive.

The village itself offers a famous links golf course, there are horse riding groups, tennis clubs, bowling and various water sports to enjoy. Within a level 2 minute walk from Treth there are small shops, cafes and bars, so all of your everyday holiday requirements can be provided for, within the village without the need for a car.
