Crowsnest Cottage :

The top floor of the old farmhouse, is private and self-contained, with all the modern conveniences, while still retaining its original character. This cottage has magnificent views of Trebarwith Valley and Port Isaac Bay. The entrance, via a slate porch, leads upstairs to the hallway, off which all the rooms open. The compact fitted kitchen overlooks sea views, and is equipped with electric hob/oven, microwave oven, toaster, fridge/freezer, and utensils.

Also overlooking fantastic views, is the lounge/diner, furnished with satellite TV and DVD & VCR players, dining table and chairs, and 3-piece suite. A doorway leads from the lounge to the conservatory and balcony which, as the cottage name suggests, overlooks the valley and coastline with a birds-eye view. The conservatory is equipped with heating so the spectacular views can be enjoyed at any time of year, no matter what the weather is like.

The cottage sleeps 4 people in two separate bedrooms - a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Linen is provided free of charge and beds are made up for your arrival . The fitted bathroom has bath/shower, electric towel heaters, and under-floor heating. An iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning utensils are provided for your convenience.

Electricity is included. Children are most welcome but, due to the balcony, this cottage is only suitable for children over 8. We regret we are unable to accept pets. There is private off-road parking for one car; extra cars by arrangement.

Crowsnest ideal for touring the whole of Cornwall and a large part of Devon. We are surrounded by beautiful beaches and countryside for those who want a quiet restful holiday. For the energetic we have surfing, swimming, snorkelling, Sea-fishing, Fly & Coarse fishing, Kayaking, Walking & Hiking, Cycling, Horse-riding, Golf and much within easy reach, for sightseers there are lots of Historic Houses & Gardens, Fishing Villages, Castles, Historic Building & Churches and loads of Indoor Attractions including The Eden Project. For food and drink lovers we have a whole lot of great pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s and Jamie Oliver’s also a lot of award winning local breweries and vineyards.All this information is provided in the cottages along with necessary local information and also maps and directions for a number of walks.

We shared the rental of a two bedroom cottage at Park Farm in June and were delighted with the accommodation. The cottage is well situated in a small village near Tintagel and contains everything you need for a comfortable stay including comfortable beds.. We made our own breakfasts and dinners and found the kitchen to be well supplied with everything

We were staying in Crowsnest and had seen the view in the pictures online but it is even better in real life. It was lovely and quiet, but there was still a lot to do in the area. Tintagel Castle, Trebarwith Strand (beach and surfing), Bodmin, Bude, biking the Camel trail, Padstow. We went on some wonderful coastal walks. The accommodation itself is basic but very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. In addition to the balcony, there is a conservatory which meant that we could sit and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine even when it was cold out. The owner had also left us a bottle of wine which went down very well!

Wonderful views from the conservatory

We had a most wonderful stay at Park Farm Cottages. The house had so much character and the view from the conservatory was amazing! We loved walking along the beautiful and dramatic coastline. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and provided us with good information on what to do. The only drawback was that you must have a car. Hardly any bus connections and no stores in the village.

Wir kommen wieder!

Vom Balkon bzw. vom Wintergarten aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Atlantik. Das war mir das Wichtigste und ist voll erfüllt.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, alles da, was man so braucht.

Es ist wunderbar ruhig und die Matratzen sind sehr gut, wir haben perfekt geschlafen.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, wohnen neben an und helfen gerne. Danke dafür!

Wieso dann nicht 5 Sterne? Ich bin kein Teppichboden-Fan.

My wife and I have always loved the sea and Cornwall in particular and when we discovered Park Farm with it's stunning views of the Cornish coastline and Port Isaac Bay and the wonderful beach at Trebarwith Strand below, we immediately fell in love with it. We have never in all our years here had any regrets in buying Park Farm and living here for the rest of our lives. Now we enjoying sharing this very special place with our guests.
