This first floor apartment is superbly positioned directly above the golden sands of Perranporth beach with magnificent coastal views far out to sea. Once a majestic Edwardian hotel, believed to be originally a castle this impressive building has been converted into fourteen superb apartments within its imposing and unusual exterior. A five-minute down hill walk of the town there are numerous shops, restaurants and bars. Adjacent to the castle is the coastal footpath leading to St. Agnes and a footpath enabling you to walk down to the beach on low tide. Droskyn Castle is an ideal touring base for the north coast of Cornwall, as well as being within easy reach of the Cathedral City of Truro, St. Austell with the famous Eden Project, Newquay, St.Ives and Falmouth.

Sleeps 4. Six steps lead up to the front entrance which leads on into the hallway/cloakroom area. A splendid semi open plan lounge / diner and kitchen with fantastic views of the sea and the beach. Kitchen: Fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine with a combined tumble dryer. Lounge/diner: Leather 3-piece suite, dining table with chairs to sit 4 people, colour t.v, and a DVD player. Bedrooms: Bedroom one: 2 single beds (3ft). Bedroom two: Double bed (4ft 6in). This bedroom has been fitted with an additional electric shower cubicle. Bathroom: Electric shower fitted over the bath, wash hand basin and w.c.

Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own. Electricity is not included in the rental price and is operated by a key meter, an initial £10 is included.

Lifeguards are also stationed at the Perran Sands end of Perranporth beach from mid May to the end of September.

• Perranporth beach is dog friendly allowing dogs on the beach all year round. From July to September dogs must be kept on a short lead between 10am and 5pm.

• Perranporth has access to South West coast paths in both directions for walking and exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.
