This beautiful, modern and spacious (200sqms) villa was built in 2004. Since it was built the owners Karina and Colin have made many changes and have now created a stunning villa, which until very recently was their home.

The villa is located at the top of Monte Pedreguer, above the town of Gata de Gorgos. It is perfectly located for a peaceful holiday within a quiet residential area. The busy coastal resorts of Javea and Denia are just an easy 10 minutes drive away, making it a perfect place to take a relaxing holiday knowing the coastal resorts are within easy distance. Moraira, Calpe and Altea are all within easy driving distance between 20 to 30 minutes away.

The traditional Spanish towns of Gata de Gorgos and Pedreguer are just a few minutes by car where you will find restaurants, shops, supermarkets and bars.

Just a few minutes by car and you can be driving through the stunning Jalon Valley where there many restaurants to stop and eat and enjoy the views.

The villa is large, light and airy. It has been built on 3 levels. The ground floor consists of the entrance with its stunning staircase. A beautiful and elegantly furnished lounge / diner with modern furniture has a real WOW factor. It is a wonderful comfortable place to relax and you can even enjoy your usual UK TV programs, if you wish.

Off the lounge is a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need, including dishwasher, fridge freezer etc. and all the equipment you will require. It was designed by Colin who builds kitchens and is a trained butcher and an excellent chef so the kitchen is very important to him and so it is finished to the highest standard.

Off the kitchen you will find a utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities.

Patio doors lead from the lounge to the naya. The covered dining area is a perfect place to enjoy the garden and the beautiful weather while dining al fresco. Opposite the naya has been built a further outdoor kitchen complete with gas BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining.

From the hallway taking 6 steps up from the ground floor you arrive at the mezzanine level, here you will find 2 spacious rooms, one is a double room and one a twin room and a family bathroom. The bathroom is modern and has bath and overhead shower. The bedrooms are both modern and comfortable they have ample storage space, fans, fly screens and shutters on the windows.

A further 6 steps up you will find the master suite which is the whole of the upper floor. There is a spacious and beautiful master bedroom with king size bed. Patio doors lead onto the private terrace overlooking the garden and the pool area. There is a separate dressing area with ample storage space and a large en suite shower room with large walk in shower and a double vanity unit. The en suite is modern, spacious and very luxurious.

The villa sits on a 650 sqm south facing flat plot. The garden is beautifully landscaped with your own private 8 x 4 mtr swimming pool which has roman steps for easy access and is surrounded by beautiful artificial grass, which is perfect for small children, the garden is totally enclosed so ideal for children.

There is off road parking for 2 cars.

About the Owner

My name is Michelle Etheridge I am the property manager of this beautiful villa along with other villas in this area. I will respond to your email as quickly as I possibly can, often within an hour. My husband Steve, myself, Pete (the pool cleaner) and a small team of ladies work hard to ensure that the villa is perfect for your arrival. We are a professional team who understand the importance of your holiday experience. Having saved hard and looked forward to your holiday all year, you want to arrive to a spotlessly clean villa, which is what you get from us. All the linen is laundered professionally, so its crisp and fresh.

The villas are all very well equipped. If theres a problem we are only a phone call away or an email as all of our villas have wifi. We will do our best to sort any problem as quickly as possible, it doesn't happen often but if it does you know we are there.

There is a taylor made book in each villa with instructions on the villa and the area.

Having rented and managed villas in the area for the past 13 years, we know the little things that create a problem immediately, like hows the TV work, wifi code, its all there to see quickly so you can get your holiday started as soon as you have unpacked your case.

My Husband and I were both born in Doncaster, Steve is 57 and Michelle 50. We bought our first villa in the year 2000 as a retirement investment. The villa rented very well and in less than a year we bought 2 more villas to rent. In late 2003 we sold our house in the UK, which we had designed and built ourselves. We gave up 2 professional jobs and moved to Spain to live and have never looked back. We rent our own villas and also rent and manage other villas in the area. We have a small team of cleaners and tradesmen so there is always someone on hand in case of any problems. Our standards are very high and this is reflected in our properties. We work hard to ensure that our properties are furnished and cleaned to a high standard.

The beautiful coastal resort of Javea is just 10 minutes away by car. It has a beautiful sandy beach with restaurants close by and there are many small coves dotted up the coast line to discover.

The cosmopolitan town of Denia is just 10 to 15 minutes away by car with its long sandy beaches and fabulous new marina where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a meal while admiring the beautiful yacts bobbing around on the Med... perfect.


The villa is ideally situated between both Alicante and Valencia airports. Just one hour's drive north from Alicante airport and 1 hour and 10 minutes drive south from Valencia airport. Along the AP-7 (E-15) auto piste it couldn't be easier, detailed directions are provided and the keys are in a key safe at the villa. This ensures a stress free arrival if flights are delayed, a real hit with Guests as they have no worries if flights are late.


The traditional Spanish villages of Gata de Gorgos & Pedreguer are just a couple of minutes away by car. Javea is just 10 minutes & Denia is 15 minutes away by car. Moraira is 20 minutes away and the resorts of Clape and Altea are only 30 minutes away by car. Benidorm and its theme parks Terramitica and Aqua parks are just 40 minutes drive away. Alicante is 1 hour away and the city of Valencia is just 1 hour and 10 minutes away, so plenty to see in this beautiful area of the Costa Blanca.

There are numerous restaurants in the area to choose from when dining out, either locally or in the mountains of the Jalon Valley or in the local towns of Javea or Denia. There are all styles of restaurants English, typically Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian a full range of restaurants, covering all pallets and price ranges, from a three course meal with wine from as little as 8.50 euros to a tasty a la carte meal in beautiful settings, the choice is yours. At the entrance to Monte Pedreguer there is an English restaurant with carvery, menu, a bar and they serve a great English breakfast for around 4 euros. There are banks in Gata de Gorgos & Pedreguer and local shops and a market on a Saturday in the local town. There is a large market is held on a Sunday morning with hundreds of stalls from all over in Pedreguer.

Both Javea and Denia have many wonderful, small shops with designer labels and beautiful leather shoes can be purchased at great prices. The local Masymas supermarket is just a couple of minutes away by car where you can purchase all you will need for your holiday including freshly baked bread and a fantastic fish counter and winery (many English brands can also be purchased here too),there is a local English butcher and supermarkets too, so if you speak no Spanish, there is no problem. There are large Mercadona supermarkets on the way to Javea and Denia, so plenty of choice.

We, the English Property Managers Michelle and Steve, live close by and visit you soon after you arrive to ensure that the villa is all you expected it to be. We are on hand in case of any problems you may have and we can advice you on where to go and what to see and which restaurants to visit. We feel that a villa holiday should be as relaxing, private and as stress free as possible, but it is nice to know that if there are any problems we are only a phone call away and can help. We ensure the villa is maintained to a high standard and that the cleanliness is perfect every time.

The house is beautifully maintained as the owners have very high standards. This villa is a perfect place for a family get away.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is rented in the summer months only as it is the home of the owner for the rest of the year. It is very well equipped and maintained to the highest level as the owner are perfectionists. It is most important for them that all guests go home having had a wonderful holiday. The owners have ensured there are a lot of little extras not included in many rental villas, but they themselves get to enjoy them when at home, so the villa is very well equipped. Outside: It is a perfect villa for families with small children as the fully enclosed garden and artificial grass are great for the little ones, the tiled areas are all tiled with anti slip tiles too. The outside dining & kitchen is a great place to enjoy, there are lights under the palms which can be lit at night, so while the little ones are catching up on some well earned rest after a busy day in and out of the pool. The adults can enjoy a glass of something, while relaxing and taking in the ambiance of the lit garden & pool. The BBQ and outside kitchen are a great, with the warm summer evenings who wants to be inside cooking when you can enjoy the outside and join in with the fun. A perfect end to a day. Utility Room: The utility room off the kitchen has a washing machine and further fridge, vacuum, mop & bucket and ironing facilities. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All quality towels and linen are provided, including pool towels. Linen is changed weekly and bathrooms are cleaned at the end of the week (if holiday is for 2 weeks or more). Other: Outside you will find an outside kitchen next to the covered terrace with oven, BBQ and a fridge. Not far to go for that all important cold drink.
