Bucklebury Cottage is a charming Quarryman's cottage located in North St, Langton Matravers boasting lovely sea views from the top bedroom. Refurbished to a high standard in Spring 2015. With countless walks straight out of the front door, it is a lovely spot for a holiday on the Jurassic Coast. There is a small enclosed courtyard garden and a parking space. Dogs are welcome, just please follow the guidelines for your canine in the welcome pack provided.

Alison purchased the house late 2014 and has since refurbished it. She also owns a local business in Swanage. Her shop, Winston & Potter, sells gifts and home furnishings, many of which can be seen situated in Bucklebury Cottage. Visitors to the cottage receive a 10% discount at the shop - so if you like the decor during your stay then head on down to Winston & Potter!

Lovely cosy cottage in good location

We were visiting family in the area and needed somewhere we could entertain them, celebrate our grandson's birthday and walk our dog. Bucklebury was perfect, superbly comfortable, well equipped and stylishly appointed. We had a great time and the dog loved the local coastal walks.

Great Week Away

Lovely little cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We had a lovely week, very chilled and relaxed. A great pub up the road in Kingston and some great places to eat in Swanage too. Bournemouth, Poole and Sandbanks all within easy reach and Studland Bay is definitely worth checking out. We also visited, Corfe Castle, West Bay, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door whilst there. Would definitely come back. Thank you Alison.

A lovely cottage in an excellent location

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is tastefully furnished and well equipped throughout even included milk in the fridge and croissants for the first breakfast. The small rear garden is totally enclosed so any pet is safe and there are good open field walks very close by. I certainly recommend using this cottage, its location is ideal for so many of the fantastic walks and features of the Purbeck coastline.

Cottage exactly as described, surrounding area great (Poole, Swanage, Studland,Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove) and close by , local pub good. We took our dog and fully appreciated all the walks on our doorstep. Owners made the whole booking process easy.

Well located and appointed cottage in Isle of pure

We were very impressed by the furnishing and decor of the cottage along with the facets provide - all new for this year. the cottage is in a superb village with a pub providing some of the best evening meals in the Swanage area. Ideally situated for walking or visits to Corfe Castle, Swanage and Studland.

2.5 miles to the lovely beach at Swanage

Travel:

15-20 minute drive from Wareham Train Station, the Number 40 bus stops within a few minutes walk of the property and connects Poole, Wareham and Swanage.

Distances:

1.5 miles to the popular Square and Compass pub in Worth Matravers, 2 miles to the popular seaside town of Swanage. The beautiful ruins of Corfe Castle (National Trust) are 4 miles away.

Further Details:

Local pub and village shop are less than a 10 minute walk away. Lots of walking trails such as the Priests Way (joining Worth Matravers and Swanage) are on the doorstep. The beautiful Dancing Ledge is a lovely 2 mile walk away across open countryside.
