About the property

3 bedroom flint cottage near the beach

This traditional flint cottage was one of the original Fisherman's Cottages in Sheringham. Having enjoyed holidays on the North Norfolk coast for some years we bought 'Rose Cottage,' having fallen in love with its quirky layout, the light, airy and peaceful feel and most importantly; its wonderful location near to the beach. It is also very conveniently located for the all the amenities that Sheringham has to offer. It is a great place to enjoy the local ice-cream parlours or our favourite; eating Fish and Chips on the beautiful beach.

About Richard Munday

As a family we've loved holidaying in Norfolk for many years. Sheringham is a great place with young children and there are many beautiful, safe beaches to choose from in the area as well as great days out.

Why Richard Munday chose Sheringham

We fell in love with the quirky nature of the property and its historic features. Sheringham for us has always been such a friendly and welcoming town offering everything we could need and a fabulous beach.

The high street is bustling and full of local shops and traders

What makes this cottage unique

The property is conveniently located for the main high street which has everything we've ever needed whilst also being wonderfully close to the sea.

Lovely cottage with lots of character

  • 5 of 5

The cottage provided everything we needed. Very clean. Good position close to the main high street. Parking isn’t available but managed to find a spot close by. The two gardens provide sun all day. One thing to note is the ceilings are low in places, despite this we enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend

This place is lovely, it's very well equipped as we stayed over Christmas. Very peaceful location and personally I love the rolltop bath!

Quaint well located cottage.

Nicely appointed cottage. Ideal for a family, being close to the sea and the town and a good base for exploring North Norfolk.

A fabulous property, beautifully decorated in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time here. The cottage was well appointed with everything you could need including games, toys and books for the kids. The cottage was less than a minute from a beautiful beach and there's plenty to see and do in the town and surrounding area, a week wasn't long enough!

Character cottage close to the beach and town.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage which had plenty of space and two lovely outside areas to sit. Managed OK without a stand up shower and the low ceilings. Would certainly stay there again.
