Camana is a brand new detached house completed in Mar 2015 and is a beautiful self catering property providing luxury accommodation for up to eight people. Camana is situated in Carbis Bay, St Ives in a very peaceful location, and is only a 15-minute walk into St Ives, the harbour and beaches. If you love modern, pure white surroundings and clean lines then our holiday property is just for you. It has parking for two cars - a 3rd space available on request. The nearest pub is The Cornish Arms and is one-minutes walk away. Tesco is just around the corner too - one-minutes walk - handy :-)

Camana is light and airy. Downstairs is all open-plan with a fantastic spacious kitchen/living/dining area perfect to share with family & friends. It has two large sofas and a large white gloss dining table that can extend to seat 10 people. There is oak flooring throughout with modern furniture. It has a 40" flat screen TV and YouView box. The kitchen is well equipped with double oven, American-style fridge/freezer, 4-ring hob, toaster, kettle and beech block worktops.

Upstairs each bedroom has a king-size bed with luxury 1000 pocket sprung mattress to ensure the perfect nights sleep. Each room has the facility to sleep one other person on a pull out bed (suitable for children only). The downstairs bedroom has twin beds with luxury 1000 pocket sprung mattresses, tv + dvd.

Downstairs there is a utility room with wc, washer/dryer, sink and plenty of storage space.

Outside there is a large patio area with table and chairs where you can enjoy both morning and evening sun and make the most of outdoor living. With sea views, parking for two cars (3rd space on request), bed linen, towels, all bills, wifi and YouView box, it has everything you need for a perfect holiday.

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday.

I live in Cornwall with my husband and two children. We have lived in St Ives for 30 years and this year we celebrate 26 years of marriage.

My husband and I bought this plot of land and have built our first house. It has been a fantastic experience. We have put a lot of love into the build with a view to giving our customers the best holiday experience.

Camana is a detached property in a lovely quiet location but you are not far away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives.

There are lovely sea glimpses from the kitchen/living area.

You will experience a holiday to remember.

Camana is a beautiful brand new build which provides luxury accommodation for up to 8 people. Camana is situated in Carbis Bay & is only a 15-minute walk to St Ives, the harbour & beaches. If you love modern, pure white surroundings & clean lines then our holiday accommodation is just for you. This light & airy contemporary house has a beautiful open-plan living/dining/kitchen area which is perfect for socialising. It has a lovely big patio area which enjoys both morning and evening sun. Camana is personally supervised by the owners who live close by. They maintain & clean the house to the very highest of standards.

We stayed here for a week in July with our teenage daughters, communications with the owner prior to the trip were excellent. The house is as described, it has been very well thought out, the only thing I would add would be a hot tub!

We met the owner whilst we were there who wanted to make sure everything was ok, she was very pleasant and helpful.

The house is excellently placed for the local beaches which have to be amongst the best in the country, there is a great pub a few minutes walk away, a superstore around the corner and St Ives is about a 20 minute walk away.

I have recommended the house to friends and family, its hard to imagine you could get somewhere better in the same price range.

Notes on accommodation: A £150 damage deposit/cleaning fee is required. All kitchen related items must be returned to the cupboards clean ready for the next guests. The fee will be returned once the property has been checked. You should receive your fee within two weeks of vacating the property. Outside: Camana has a lovely patio area with outdoor furniture and is very private. It has lots of morning sun and then lovely evening sun too. It has a rotary washing line should you need it. Utility Room: The utility has a washer/dryer, sink, wc and plenty of storage. Towels / Linen: All towels and linen are included. One bath towel per person. One hand towel is provided per bathroom (ie 3)

The Best house we have stayed in.

Camana was indeed a modern, stunning family home which we fell in love with! Our host, Samara, has thought of everything and we were so pleased to meet her and her husband. We felt that we were staying in a friends house!

Booking was easy and all communications were dealt with promptly.

The two upstairs bedrooms were spacious and each had a pull out buddy bed for our two young children still leaving plenty of room. Everything was spotlessly clean, well decorated and maintained and with some lovely pictures. Large TV and DVD with spacious seating and good wifi connection! The sun shone all day on the garden area and we enjoyed using the large BBQ. The washer/dryer was really useful for the children's clothes and towels.

We walked easily into St Ives and caught a bus back almost to the door. Tesco is a two minute walk away and this was so helpful.

We loved the beaches but especially Porthmeor where you could watch the surfers. The beach cafe/restaurant was brilliant for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner...take your pick...but you must book. We booked the table for our son and daughter in law's 7th wedding anniversary several months ago!

We love St Ives and Carbis Bay and we do not hesitate to recommend Camana.

Had a fantastic week in Camana

Family of four ( Grown up children). Camana is very comfortable and roomy , and close enough to walk to the beaches and shops in and around St Ives. We walked to St Ives and its beaches during the day and used the steep walk back in the afternoon to burn off any "pasty" calories. We then drove down and parked in the Station car park in the evenings for dinner along the water front. Perfect for our family. Thank you for your help and advice Samara. We would definitely recommend Camana.

Lovely holiday home - fantastic holiday!

We had an amazing holiday and Camana is such a lovely holiday home with everything you need for a relaxing stay! It is very clean and very well equipped. The shower has good pressure too which is always a plus after the beach!

There is morning sunshine to have your coffee outside and sunshine on an evening if you wanted to eat outside.

Overall we were really happy with the property and location. Samara the owner is extremely helpful and very easy to speak to if you need to.

Camana has a Tesco just around the corner which is extremely handy for your essentials, it has a lovely local pub called the Cornish arms which is also nice for tea one night. There are lots of lovely little walks from the house down to either beaches following a coastal path - we only walked part way of this but views lovely!

It is about a 10 minute walk to carbis bay beach and 15 minute walk to st Ives which is the beach (portminster) we used whilst there as found the walk lovely and the beach was ideal with coffee, food and ice creams close by!

St Ives is a lovely town with cobbled streets and has such a lovely feel to it! Lots of lovely places for lunch and boat ride is good to seal island! The town just has a lovely feel to it and there is a small beach where the water is like a warm bath because it's so enclosed!

We visited lands end and st Michaels mount which were two lovely days out!

Would definitely recommend Camana as it's a lovely holiday home close to everything you need for a great holiday!

Home from home in good location

We enjoyed our stay at Camana for a week. We have two young children so the open plan living space was ideal for us. Overall the house is extremely comfortable (especially the beds) and has plenty of space. It has everything you need for your holiday. Samara was super helpful with any enquiries.

In terms of location, it was a 15 minute walk to either St Ives or carbis Bay but beware of the hills!

We went to paradise park (nearby bird sanctuary with soft play) and would thoroughly recommend it for those with children and without!

Tesco's round the corner and cornish arms was a nice place to have dinner and perfect for the kids.

Would definitely look to rebook if/when we return to the area! Thanks Samara.

Very clean bright and spacious.

It is a clean spacious 3 bedroomed house near a Tesco store about ten minutes walk outside St Ives. The house was spotless and well maintained with off street parking for two cars. The owner left excellent instructions around the house regarding the Wifi and the television.

Lands End Penzance and St Michaels Mount are a short car ride away and the town of St Ives has a number of restaurants and a beautiful beach.

Travel:

DRIVING - Take the A30 & follow signs for St Ives via A3074. You are approx 2.5 miles from your destination.

Continue on the A3074 passing through Lelant & into Carbis Bay.

Continue through Carbis Bay & as soon as you’ve gone straight over the mini roundabout at Tesco, take your first left into Hecla Drive.

Drive up Hecla Drive & Camana is the big white building on our left.

TRAIN - Nearest main line station is St Erth & nearest branch line station is St Ives.

Booking Notes:
Prices based on up to 4 people sharing. Additional charges apply for guests 5 & 6 £140 pp per week, guests 7 & 8 £84 pppw. Camana has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 & can accommodate a further 2 guests on pullout beds in the 2 main bedrooms. Please contact me via email for prices. A none-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking & the balance is due 6 weeks before your arrival date. A £150 damage deposit/cleaning fee is required. It will be returned once the property has been checked.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday to Saturday during peak season but we can be flexible out of season. Check-in time is 3:30pm and check-out time is 10am.
