Beautiful 2 bedroom bungalow. Very clean and everything you could possibly wish for!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th time staying at Michelle and Paul's beautiful holiday cottage on the Lynn Peninsula. Such a beautiful property, private and peaceful, yes there is a little traffic on the road at the front, but the views far outweigh this.. take time to relax, unwind and completely enjoy the rest and relaxation this beautiful place offers. If you have children then Fairy wood is a must! Money well spent and a great day out for the whole family. Or take a trip to one of the many beaches located within a short drive from base. Michelle and Paul always go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable and very welcome. We've already booked for our 5th visit next year! I have to say that this is by far the very best rental I have ever seen, and anyone would be hard pressed to find anything better... not only in the area, but in the whole of north Wales! Go on... book up! You definitely will not be disappointed!

Picturesque, very clean and well stocked cottage

  • 5 of 5

Our second time here within two months, hope that says it all really! Another lovely week in this clean, very well stocked cottage. The views are superb from either the veranda in warm weather or the conservatory in the cooler weather. Even the view from the bedroom is of fields and the mountain.

Rural, peaceful but with the amenities of the metropolis being Pwllheli just a short drive away.

Can not wait to go back again.

Quiet tranquil place in an ideal location

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to Wales and we really enjoyed it.

The cottage surpassed our expectations in many ways, we found it exceeding the description. It was the first time all my family was satisfied with everything! The bungalow is ideally placed to visit all the north west attractions. We mainly visited Edwards' castles, Anglesey and took walks in Snowdonia.

The communication with the owner was outstanding, above necessities we received a vast amount of information on the area as well.

I highly recommend booking it!

A well located, equipped, clean, cosy cottage.

  • 5 of 5

I found this gem of a cottage online and my family is glad I did! The communication from the owner has been excellent throughout from our initial enquiry through to post holiday.

The online description is accurate, as are the reviews. Easy to find with its beautiful location facing South over the Llyn Peninsular (breakfast every morning in the conservatory-panoramic views looking out towards Cardigan Bay). We arrived in snow to a warm and clean home with everything well thought out from an ample supply of logs to a substantial welcome pack. The kitchen is extremely well kitted out, in fact the entire cottage is. Instructions throughout are clear on how things work and lots of information on things to do in the area.

We have not stayed in a better cottage and are already looking to book again (as are my parents and in-laws). My recommendation: don't hesitate, just book it!!

Wonderful, well equipped cottage in superb location.

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage had everything we could ask for from fantastic views to a kitchen that had everything we needed even when we decided to attempt some complex recipes! We were greated by a generous welcome package which we all appreciated. Everything has been carefully prepared for guests with helpful notes scattered around the house, to answer any questions you may have as soon as you ask them. We took our dog with us as he was made to feel very welcome from a packet of biscuits on arrival to his own washing kit, it was great to feel that the owners are so welcoming towards pets. We really cannot reccommend this property highly enough.

Lovely stay: fantastic views, very peaceful

  • 4 of 5

The cottage (bungalow) is gorgeous, and has amazing views over the peninsula. The conservatory is perfectly appointed to take advantage of the views of the sea, and were treated to some gorgeous sunsets whilst we were there. The bungalow is immaculately kept and very clean, and is lovely and warm. The wifi is great - more than enough to watch movies in the evenings whilst sat by the fire. Having said that, there is a collection of DVDs and games in the cottage, so we certainly weren’t stuck for something to do when the weather wasn’t great. We had our dog with us, so eating out wasn’t really an option, but the kitchen is so well equipped, we felt right at home. We actually took our slow cooker to prepare our evening meals, but we didn’t have to. There was one at the bungalow! Along with a rice cooker, a electric hand whisk/mixer and all the cooking/baking dishes you could ever want.

There are loads of walks in the area, with varying degrees of difficulty. I’m sure anyone would be able to find a walk matched to their ability. Our border collie was certainly well exercised during the week! There are some lovely beaches a short drive away, some of which are dog friendly. The local village had a couple of shops, and Nefyn (about 10-15 mins drive away) had a few more for those essentials. It also has a lovely brewery - Cwrw Llyn Cyf - with its own cafe and shop so we could sample some locally brewed beers, but there is a pub within walking distance of the house. There is a large supermarket in Pwllheli for a larger shopping trip.

Honestly, this is the best holiday cottage booking we’ve been on, and whilst it was our first visit, I’m sure it won’t be the last. It is in such a beautiful area of Wales, and with so much to do in the local vicinity, its a no-brainer! :)
