About michelle dawn croft

We live in the Northwest of England with our daughter and Jack Russell, we purchased Crud Yr Awel 12 years ago after holidaying in Abersoch for many years, we love the area and have never got tired of the magnificent views and stunning beaches this peninsula has to offer we are still finding new places to visit even after almost 20 years it is sometimes worth getting off the beaten track. Crud Yr Awel is a real home from home with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful bed linen and fittings making it feel that little bit more special. This is our first year at letting and I'm quite excited that we are sharing what we think is a beautiful place with others.

michelle dawn croft purchased this bungalow in 2003

Why michelle dawn croft chose Lleyn Peninsula

The magnificent views, peace and quiet and really away from it all for those special times away.

What makes this bungalow unique

Relaxation doing as much as you want or doing nothing

at all watching the amazing views with a glass of wine in the conservatory. Within a ten minute drive you can be on a glorious beach or ten pin bowling. Or simply walk into the village and head up the mountain for an exhilarating walk (not for the faint hearted) or simply drive up.

A holiday gem

  • 5 of 5

Having just returned from our 3 night stay in this beautiful rural bungalow I can confirm that the reviews are spot on.

Set in a quiet village but close enough to the fantastic beaches, mountains and resorts of this friendly unspoilt region it is ideally located.

With quality appliances and facilities with just about everything you could ever need provided and mesmeric rural views from every window you cannot possibly fail to enjoy yourself.

Do not hesitate, book it now, you will not regret it.

Thanks again Michelle, we loved it and will be back.

A Lovely, homely cottage with fabulous views

  • 5 of 5

The property is immaculate and superbly equipped with all facilities and essentials such as wifi. The weather was not good during our stay but spending time in the property is no hardship from sitting in the conservatory to playing games or collating next to the log fire. You can't stay here and not relax, its impossible.

Everything and more

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for five nights with our dog, Indy. We were after somewhere cosy, dog friendly, close to the beach and with wifi. We were not disappointed at all and would definitely return for a holiday.

The property had everything we needed plus lots of extras. Michelle and Paul have really went out there way to include everything. The welcome pack includes local sites and tourist destinations, contact details, tips for using facilities and much more. The bungalow was well maintained, clean and fresh.

What we really loved was the log burning fire. After a day out walking, the fire was so cosy and welcoming. The property did have central heating but the bungalow was never cold.

The wifi performed excellently and has the speed to watch movies and do general internet tasks.

We had mixed weather but mostly dry which meant we could enjoy an evening sitting out on the decking.

The photos do not do the property justice.

If you are interested in a not so strenuous walk you have Yr Eifl which is directly behind the cottage. There are two beaches roughly 5 miles from the bungalow, Traeth Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn, they essentially connect together. The two beaches are dog friendly but at times dogs are asked to be kept on specific sides of the beach. At Morfa Nefyn you will find one of the worlds top beach pubs, Ty Coch Inn. There is also a fuel station in Morfa Nefyn.

We visited Beddgelert which was lovely and boosts an ice cream shop. Whilst here we also did the Fisherman's Path and Cwm Bychan.

Do not hesitate to book Crud Yr Awel.

Stunning and Idyllic

  • 5 of 5

Without doubt the best cottage we have stayed in ever! We were delighted with the location, the cottage itself and the attention to detail provided by the owners. From the cleanliness right through to the fabulous welcome hamper every aspect of our holiday had been catered for. Whilst the weather was probably the worst August week ever recorded we found ourselves happy and relaxed sat watching the sea from the conservatory and cuddled up in the lounge with the log burner on. We had a truly wonderful break and its location to Criccieth and Nefyn made the location ideal allowing us peace and tranquility but never too far from shops and restaurants. Without doubt we will return and hopefully pick a better week so we can enjoy this stunning cottage in the sunshine.

Truly beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Michelle and Paul offer what can only be described as a 5 star holiday rental. The property is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. There is so much to do and see in the area, and if you just want to relax and stay in then there is a lovely conservatory leading out to a great deck with all the seating you could wish for. Stunning views all around and South facing so has the sun all day. If you're unlucky enough to be surrounded by mist, then don't be disheartened as we have always found the beaches to be almost if not totally clear, so please don't be put off! There is a small but well stocked shop in the village, and also an Asda about a 15 minute drive away. This was our third time staying here, and have already booked for next year. Beautiful... 5***** !

Wonderful experience!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the bungalow which exceeded our expectations. It is in a wonderful location with beautiful views all around, just perfect for relaxing after a busy day out exploring. The bungalow was absolutely immaculate and we were able to settle in straight away. Michelle has provided everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. There are also lots of thoughtful touches, such as a basket of fleece blankets for chilly evenings, binoculars for wildlife watching, beach towels and parasol. There was even bird seed for the feeder which my daughter loved filling up. We were lucky enough to have good weather for most of our stay and were able to make use of the bbq and enjoy the outside space. We totally fell in love with the Llyn peninsula during our stay and are already planning to return next year to the bungalow - it was that good! Thank you Michelle for such a wonderful stay and also for the welcome hamper which was much appreciated.
