Front facing view of Mont Blanc. Suitable All Year Round

Les Balances has three bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a separate washroom. There are two double bedrooms, and 1 small bunk bedroom. The open plan living room has a dining table and four chairs, plus a sofa/sofa bed and chair to comfortably seat 4/5. The newly fitted kitchen is well-equipped with full size oven, dishwasher, plus fridge, freezer and washing machine too. The two balconies lead off the kitchen and the lounge, and there are two chairs on the lounge balcony too. The apartment is equipped with WiFi internet access. Skis etc can be stored on the balcony and boots under the stairs. Apartment les Balances is located right in the centre of Chamonix, and overlooks the main square. This is possibly the best location in Chamonix where you can soak up the atmosphere of this buzzing alpine town. The apartment is on the 4th floor and has two balconies facing down the high street and towards the town hall and church. The apartment overlooks the pedestrianized town square in the centre of Chamonix with bars and restaurants, supermarkets, ski hire shops, patisserie and Office de Tourisme within walking distance. Everything is on the doorstep with the nearest ski lift (Brevent and le Savoy) being a 5 minute walk away. There is no parking but there is a public car park locally and permits can be easily purchased for the week. Apartment Overview •Right in the centre of Chamonix •Two double bedrooms, both with storage space •Third small bunk bedroom, ideal for children • Family bathroom with bath, shower attachment and WC •Separate 2nd WC •Open plan living room with lounge and dining seating for 4/5 •New kitchen with full size oven, 3 ring electric hob •Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Car is not necessary. The Brevent and Aiguille de Midi lifts are 5 minutes walk away, and the shuttle bus stop to all the other ski area lifts is also a 5 minute walk away

Chamonix is a popular destination. In the streets of this high-mountain town you'll hear languages from every corner of the globe. Ski, sports, shopping, culinary expertise and of course, the famous Mont Blanc - 4,810 metres (15,781 ft) of rock, snow, ice and dreams of things to come.

Open air and high mountains, the diverse wild life and spectacular countryside, Chamonix really does offer couples, friends and families a perfect place to explore and discover. Geneva Airport/Aeroport de Genève - 80km. 1 hr via transfer service or SAT Bus.

Lyon Saint Expury Airport/Aeroport St Expury. 2.5 hrs via transfer service or Bus.

By Train

Through Switzerland/Suisse via Martigny. At the border town of Châtelard change to the Mont-Blanc Express SNCF TER train to Chamonix.

Through France the TGV to Bellegarde, regional TER lines via St.Gervais/La Fayet and the Mont-Blanc Express to Chamonix

By Car
