Fabulous - Will stay again

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic - Our best stay in GOZO yet. The house is Beautiful, Spacious and very clean and a great sized pool for splashing around in. The entire house is larger than the pictures make it look, the living room and has a working log burner which made our evenings cosy.

On arrival it was nice to have milk and few goodies in the fridge, we have left some teabags and additional supplies in the cupboards. All crockery was clean and tidy and plenty of it.

The bedrooms are great, again spacious and the bedding is nicer than it looks in the pictures.

Krishna and his family have built a beautiful home and it was a pleasure to be able to use it, in the process of booking again for next year.

Wow!!

  • 5 of 5

It was definitely a huge Wow when we opened the 'unassuming' front door and this continued through the most gorgeous internal courtyard - I could have comfortably spent my week there - through to the sitting/dining room with the stone arches then out to the pool. The external stone stairs to the 2 double bedrooms was just the icing on the cake. I felt very privileged to be able to stay in such a beautiful house. 2nd time on Gozo and it didn't disappoint. An island we will visit again and Ta Krishna would be our first choice. A wonderful week. Thank you

Suberb holiday home

  • 5 of 5

Althouth the pictures tell already lot, the house was beyond our expectations. The house brings you back in ancient times but with all the comfort of today. It is superbly restored in the characteristic Gozo style. The weather was a bit too cold for the swimming pool but the wood stove was warm and cozy in the evening. We stayed 1 week on Malta in a hotel and the next week in this house and this last week did us almost forget our stay on Malta. Gozo had everything we wanted. It is certainly a holiday we cherish and a house we want to go back to.

Amazing house with lovely features in a peaceful l

  • 5 of 5

This is a fantastic property which would suit anyone who likes rustic charm, in a peaceful location. The house has the 'wow factor' when you walk in. You leave an unassuming frontage and enter into a lovely outdoor courtyard which leads upstairs along an open air balcony to two large comfortable bedrooms, and access to the roof, great for stargazing. Downstairs there is a large lounge/diner with lovely original features and a glazed door out to the pool area. Here there is a good sized pool and loads of wooden garden furniture perfect for relaxing. There is also another large twin bedroom. There is also a quirky indoor spiral staircase all the way back upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped, there are 3 powerful showers to choose from and we were provided with plenty of large towels, including ones for the pool and beach. There was ample space for me, my husband and two children. The owners were really helpful both before and during our stay. I would recommend this property, it was excellent value for money and nice not to see huge increases in price just because of school holidays. The only bad thing....having to come home!! Thanks again Krishna for a lovely week

Fabulous, well equipped, quirky farmhouse.

  • 5 of 5

If you like quirky, historic but comfortable then this is the place for you. The property has an internal courtyard with external steps to the two upstairs bedrooms, there is an internal spiral stairway also. It was lovely to sit in the courtyard with the open sky and see the stars so clearly.

The owners have retained the rustic feel of this house, with wooden shutters and the original feeding troughs in the living room cleverly lit to provide a wonderful feel to the stone vaulted sitting room. Although rustic the kitchen is well equiped with dishwasher, freezer etc. The bathrooms are modern with lots of hot water and plenty of water pressure.

The furniture is comfortable yet also has the rustic feel which suits the property so well.

The pool is well kept and pool area kept clean with a beautiful garden.

On our arrival which was quite late we found a thoughtfulo welcome pack of bread, cheese, eggs, milk etc (thank you).

There is a well stocked supermarket very close with all you could need, the village square has several restaurants and there are many more in the surrounding areas.

I would recommend a car in order to enjoy Gozo fully, it is an amazing island with something for everyone.

Thank you Krishna and Allison for a wonderful holiday, we will be back.

Location

From the Owner

My wife and I visited Gozo by chance in 2001. After a long weekend we had fallen in love with the island and had purchased the farmhouse. Since then we've had two boys who in turn have also fallen in love with the Island. The farmhouse is our second home and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
