About the property

Spacious 3 Bedroom Apartment, A Few Minutes Walk From Inverness City Centre, The River Ness And Eden Court

First floor Victorian Apartment in the very heart of Inverness. With three bedrooms and two large reception rooms, this spacious apartment, with private off street parking, is in a quiet residential street while being only a few minutes walk from the city centre, River Ness and the many fine restaurants that Inverness has to offer.

We have refurbished our apartment with wooden floorings and carpets, fresh and light decor throughout and finished it with nice modern furniture, curtains and bedding, but we have retained the Victorian charm and features so the apartment offers a peaceful modern yet traditional and homely feel.

The front door with etched glass panel is at street level behind traditional solid wood storm doors and leads to a wide carpeted staircase that sweeps round onto the first floor. Here you will find the master bedroom, bathroom, large living room and a spacious dining/living room which leads through to the well equipped kitchen. There is the added bonus of a back door in the kitchen which leads to an external staircase and down to the shared garden and drying green below.

Through door in the living room you will find a second staircase which leads up to the twin bedded room and the single bedded room. Both with good headroom and of good size. The stairs to these extra bedrooms are steep and a little quirky so we feel they are not suitable for young children or people with limited mobility.

Inverness is a vibrant city with lots to see and do and the surrounding area has spectacular scenery. Our apartment is a perfect location from which to explore. The city itself is both delightful and thriving. There are lovely riverside walks along the River Ness and around the Ness Islands which are overlooked by the Castle on the skyline. There is seating along the walks on which to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Eden Court Theatre and Cinema, which is a pleasant walk from the apartment could be the venue for a movie or show after a nice meal along the riverside. A large leisure centre, an ice rink and a wide selection of shops, cafes and excellent restaurants all make Inverness a desirable place to visit.

We were brought up in a small village in the Highlands of Scotland near Fort William, and have stayed to raise our children here too. We bought this house in Inverness as it is such a lovely city with so much to offer, and there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area.

"A fantastic place to stay"



I stayed here with friends for a weekend away to Inverness in June. What a brilliant find. Booking was easy and efficient, the apartment itself is modern with beautiful soft furnishings and a very well stocked kitchen. It even had a Tassimo coffee machine and a dishwasher!! Lovely comfortable beds and luxury bed linen made for a fab stay. The apartment has a fresh and bright feel to it but still manges to feel cosy and homely. I would definitely come back and have been recommending it to all my friends. It's a few minutes walk from the city centre with off road parking. Absolutely lovely.

We stayed here for 5 nights in January, the flat was clean, warm and homely with many stylish touches, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Very convenient for the city centre and good restaurants nearby - I highly recommend this apartment

  • Care must be taken on the upper staircase to bedrooms, it is steep and a little quirky. I have had no complaints but wish to point it out!

  • Because of enforced online payments the 25% deposit to secure your booking and the 75% balance paid 30 days before arrival are non refundable.

Car is not essential as the Apartment is so centrally located within the city. However you may like to take advantage of Inverness being a perfect location to explore the Highlands and beyond.

The Ness River is only a few minutes away from our apartment where there are several fine restaurants.

Eden Court Theatre is only 1 mile away and a pleasant walk along the river.

Vue cinema 3.3 miles

Inverness Castle, City Centre and shopping centre is 0.9 miles

Inverness Leisure Centre is 1.6 miles

From Inverness which is known as 'The Capital of the Highlands' you can visit many of the most remote parts of Scotland in a day. There is a wide selection of superb scenery to see, both coastal and mountainous, along with many Lochs and Castles.

The Black Isle, the Cairngorms, the coastline of the Moray Firth and the sandy beaches of Nairn and Findhorn to mention just a few.

Take a trip to the famous Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle which is only a short journey away. Maybe sail down the Caledonian Canal to Loch Ness or take a boat trip on the Moray Firth to dolphin watch. The scenic fishing village of Ullapool is less than an hour's drive from Inverness and the west coast has a wealth of hill walking and mountain climbing.

And of course there is an abundance of golf courses nearby including the famous courses at Castle Stuart and Royal Dornoch.

The Scottish Highland's history, culture, warmth of its people, scenery and landscape is world renowned and well worth a visit. From Culloden Battlefield to the myth of the Loch Ness Monster. from Loch Ness to Ben Nevis, the choices of things to see and do really are endless.

A 25% deposit is now required to secure your booking and the remaining 75% is due for payment 1 month prior to your arrival date, paid via the checkout and not directly to me.
