House in Fremington, Nr. Barnstaple, North Devon, Devon, England - A peaceful yet convenient Location, short Walk To Instow via Tarka Trail Along the Taw Estuary.

A substantial detached family home, situated in the western outskirts of the village of Fremington standing on a large level plot with easy access.. There is ample parking for 4 cars and views of the Taw Estuary. The Tarka Trail is conveniently close. Nearby Barnstaple has lovely restaurants, pubs and two Wetherspoons, there is excellent public transport to Barnstaple and Bideford via Stagecoach bus, there is a regular bus route. It is a pleasant walk to the beach at Instow, with its nice resturants and pubs on the seafront or Fremington Quay, where you will find a delightful Tearoom and Cafe. The Tarka Trail is easily accessed for pleasant walks or bike rides to either Barnstaple or Bideford (and from Bideford all the way to Torrington). Barnstaple town is 3 miles eastwards, it has a good choice of local shops and supermarkets. You will find many nice takeaways, pubs and restaurants. The house is spacious and light, with many original features retained, the entrance hall is beautiful and light. There are four bedrooms, 2 ground and 2 first floor. A large lounge/diner and adequate family bathroom with bath and newly fitted walk in shower and toilet. On the 1st floor there is a toilet and wash basin. Through the well equipped kitchen is a conservatory that leads out to a well maintained garden that is child friendly including a large fenced off fishpond. The Tarka Trail is easily accessible through Fremington Quay, Yelland Quay or Instow. It is great for walks and bike rides towards Bideford or Barnstaple. Barnstaple town is not far away with some lovely restaurants and shops. There are plenty of local family attractions including - The Big Sheep in Abbotsham, The Milky Way in Clovelly, Wildlife and Dinosaur Park in Combe Martin, Funderzone in Barnstaple and many more...

We fell in love with this house on our first viewing.It is situated in the western outskirts of the village of Fremington, . There are many nearby places for pleasant walks and bike rides. We are located midway between bideford and barnstaple. and well situated for exploring north devon

What makes this house unique

This house is in a quiet area and has a convenient bus route with direct bus connections to Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Bideford, Appledore and Westward Ho! and is close enough to nearby amenities. We offer a great Sky tv package in two rooms and also Wifi.

Great Holiday Home!

Beautiful place to stay,we had a lovely week. Our children enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond,such a nice garden. Warm and friendly welcome by the owners. Excellent property for a large family. Definitely would recommend. Plenty to do and see in the surrounding areas. The beach at Instow is lovely. It was our favourite beach to go to.

We had a fantastic time, the property was excellent and had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The local area was great for shops, site seeing and the beech. We would defiantly stay again.

A great place to stay for families / larger groups

Booking process was very straightforward and with quick replies from owner. Warm welcome from owners on arrival.

Facilities are great with home-from-home feel. Very well equipped kitchen, lounge (Sky TV, wifi etc). The garden is a delight and on 'good weather days' was lovely to spend family time in, as well as for evening drinks! Children loved feeding the fish in the pond. Very convenient location with many local sites and visitor attractions within easy reach. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Would suggest you request email information (directions etc) week prior to arrival)... not a criticism, just a suggestion!

Changeover Day:
The preferred changeover day is a Saturday. 7 days booking as a minimum are preferred but can be flexible by arrangement. Arrival times are 4PM and departure times are 10AM. Short breaks are negotiable.

Notes on accommodation: Please note that guests will be using our home. You will have access to our full sky package on two independant sources. A HI-FI system with C.D player and 300+ C.D's (mostly 70's to 00's rock/pop and some classical. Outside: There is ample parking to the front and side of the property for 4 cars and a large secluded rear garden with patio and gazebo with a table and chairs. (There is a pond which can be fenced off) there is one side entrance gate that is 2 metres high and all fences and walls are the same height making it very secure for parents with younger children. Utility Room: Situated in the conservatory, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Beds will be made up before arrival and towels supplied. If you are staying longer than a week, extra bed linen and towels will be supplied. Other: There is a sky tv in one ground floor double bedroom.
