WOW gorgeous character cottage

  • 5 of 5

We loved our cottage and the location was perfect. Our own parking space was a bonus! The cottage had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and all electrical appliances worked perfectly, including both tv's and dvd. Fresh flowers were a lovely touch, thank you. We are now jealous of whoever is in our cottage, lol 😀

Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely honeymoon in this very quaint cottage. Polperro is a great place to centre a Cornish holiday from and if you like quiet pubs in the evening with a relaxing atmosphere you can't go wrong. Thank you Victoria for your wonderful welcoming present and wedding card, this meant a great deal to us both. Would hope to one day return to celebrate an anniversary

Very comfortable little cottage

  • 5 of 5

Down for a few days, the cottage was very clean and tidy, comfy chairs, nice bed.

Ideal for two people, and parking out front.

The village was very quiet, which we like, and the food at the Blue Peter was superb.

A great cottage to stay.

  • 5 of 5

This was the third time we have stayed at number one. As usual it was very clean, warm and comfortable. We had days out at Port Isaac where we had lunch in the old school. Another day we went down the coast line stopping a Constinetine Bay, Watergate Bay, then into Newquay where we used to live when I was at St Mawgan. Had a meal on Friday evening at the some on a Pole in Polperro Harbour, which was excellent. Went to Bodmin another day, passed through on many occasions but had never stopped there, also visited an old faverite of oous, Padstow. Cornwall is the best county in the UK.

Crumplehorn is such a beautiful, sweet Cottage. We have been staying in No. 1 for a number of year's. It's ideal for a couple and even better with a parking space ! ! Victoria, the Owner is always on hand should you have any questions/problems. Even though Crumplehorn is at the top of the Village, there is a tram every few minutes that will take you closer to 'heaven' ! ! We love Polperro, and staying at Crumplehorn just add's to the holiday experience. It's lovely, it oozes charm, is beautifully presented and can't wait till next year ! ! We would highly recommend staying in Crumplehorn Cottage No. 1 😊 😍 😄 😂 😆 💘

Location

From the Owner

My parents bought their first holiday cottage back in 1964. (Wow! - We have been established for just over 50 years now!) They decided that as they loved the area so much, that they wanted to be able to share the beauty and charm of Polperro and Looe with others too. I took the cottages over from my parents 10 years ago when they retired, and continue to pride myself on offering dependable - Quality, comfortable, clean accommodation. We are annually inspected and approved by QIT (Quality in Cornwall) Your guarantee of a great place to stay! This cottage is so pretty and unique, that author/TV presenter Judy Finnigan even has a character living in one of our Crumplehorn Cottages in her latest novel - I do not sleep. We keep a copy of her novel in the cottage for guests to read during their holiday. A beautifully poignant tale - set in Polperro.
