Villa in Montgo, Javea, Costa Blanca North, Spain - - Exclusive Villa Set In South Facing Private Gardens, Sleeps 8 (4 Bedrooms)

This spacious well appointed villa stands in pretty, mature gardens in the exclusive and quiet neighbourhood of Montgo Toscamar, with numerous areas to relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views. The large swimming pool (10m x 5m) is bathed in sunshine from dawn till dusk and is situated in a delightful, sheltered walled garden ensuring peace and privacy.

The villa is reached through a gated drive and is attractively furnished. The air-conditioned sitting room and dining area have satellite TV, dvd and CD player. Free Wifi throughout the villa. The adjacent airy naya opens onto two separate terrace areas with breathtaking views of the Montgo mountain and the verdant valley below - ideal spots to enjoy a cool drink as the sun goes down. A large well equipped kitchen has a gas hob, fan oven and microwave and the utility area has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms comprise an attractively appointed master bedroom with king size bed and newly fitted en suite shower room, a further elegant bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom and doors to the terrace, a twin room with generous wardrobe and adjacent shower-room. All three bedrooms on this level are air-conditioned at no extra charge. External stairs lead down from the ground floor level to a bright spacious twin room with self contained sitting area, small fridge and en suite shower room - an ideal suite for either teenagers or older relatives. Glazed double doors lead directly out to the pool and terraces.

The delightful pool has Roman steps into a shallow section for children and at the other end the design incorporates a seating area with stone table. Sunbathing and seating areas include 10 sun loungers with a number of parasols, a stone table and bench seats and there is an external pool shower and a separate W.C. There are two separate al fresco dining areas; one on the upper terrace and the other poolside; ideal for lazy lunches. A gas barbecue is provided. Further seating areas can be found on the side terraces.

Javea old town, a ten minute drive away, has picturesque buildings and a colourful market every Thursday morning . Smart waterfront restaurants can be found near the port and the Arenal area has a safe sandy beach with numerous beach activities available. Along the front are cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shops.. Beaches are blue flag standard and are monitored by the Red Cross Beach Patrol. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The World Health Organisation found Javea to be climatically and environmentally in the top ten healthiest places on earth.

Closer to home, less than five minutes drive, Jesus Pobre is a traditional Spanish village with several bars and restaurants, a bakery and a small supermarket. On Sundays there is Farmers Market where you will be tempted by fresh local produce including pastries, bread, vegetables, charcuterie, wine and Limoncello. It is a lovely event for locals and visitors alike.

It is an easy ten minute drive to the larger town of Denia where modern shops and traditional buildings sit comfortably together. A number of attractions include the historic castle, the tree-lined Marques de Campo main street with its restaurants and smart shops and the atmospheric pedestrianised Calle Loretto, full of lively bars and eateries. There is a magnificent 20 kilometre long sandy beach just to the North of Denia town with windsurfing and sailing opportunities.

We have spent many years visiting the Javea/Denia area and knowing that it is a beautiful place where towns and villages have retained their Spanish charm we eventually decided to buy this villa in 2014.

What makes this villa unique

We love the peaceful area and spectacular views together with the inviting private pool The fact we can be in either Javea or Denia within a matter of minutes is really useful. Jesus Pobre village is fast becoming our favourite local spot.

Notes on accommodation: All the upper level accommodation benefits from air conditioning. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The bedroom at pool level is separate from the rest of the accommodation and therefore is not suitable for small children. There are two separate driveways providing secure off road parking for 4 cars. Outside: Mature gardens surround the property. There are three separate terraces on the main villa level and the pool is on the lower level in a pretty walled garden. There are two dining tables for eight people plus a stone table and benches next to the swimming pool, 10 sun loungers and several chairs and benches in the garden. 10m x 5m private pool with Roman steps and seating. Gas barbecue. Utility Room: Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board & iron Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and bed linen are included in the rental & changed weekly. Additional towels for use on the beach or poolside can be rented for a few extra euros. The pool is regularly maintained. Cleaning at the end of your visit is included. Other: Large Naya with new rattan corner suite and tables.

Very well situated.

Bright and very well situated Villa, gets sun all day long but you can also retreat to the well spaced and airy lounge.

This villa is very well equipped and we were there as a family of 5, we were never stuck for personal space, the pool is larger than average and the area around is ample and private.

In the price range that this villa sits it's shines incredibly well.

The owner(s) (Anna) was always easily contactable and very accomodating.

Casa Alima is a lovely villa.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Alima, It is a really nice villa, with lots of outside space and a great pool. Anna provides a really useful folder with places of interest and good restaurants to eat at. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely time.

Stunning, secluded, luxurious, spacious full stop!

Fantastic Holiday

Would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful villa, our party of 8 arrived to a welcome pack left by the owners which was a great touch and were a pleasier to deal with thoughout. The villa is very well kept indeed with everything you need to enjoy your holiday with a lovely pool, gardens and fantastic views.

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location

We spent an amazing fortnight at Casa Alima and hope to return again one day. The location was fantastic, lovely and quiet but only a short drive to the fantastic town and beaches of Javea. The villa was lovely and the pool and outside terrace areas were the best we've ever experienced. Anna was always available either by email or by phone prior to our holiday and was always extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend Casa Alima!

Car: necessary


Fifteen mins drive away is Javea's family friendly beach at the Arenal. This sandy beach is lined with restaurants and shops, boasts a children's climbing frame; water-skiing, diving and pedalos are on offer here. The beach shelves very gently and is suitable for small children. Denia town is 15 minutes away where there is a sandy town beach and further out is Las Rotas with it's rocky bay and fish restaurants. Just north of Denia town is a 20 k long sandy beach with windsurfing and sailing. Some beautiful mountain regions are within easy reach, and offer vibrant street markets, quaint whitewashed villages and stunning scenery.


It is approximately 1 hour's drive to both Alicante and Valencia airports.

Denia's ferry port has daily connections with Ibiza, Majorca and Menorca. A car is recommended for shopping, sightseeing and trips to the beach however the local village of Jesus Pobre is a 20 minute walk away.


The local supermarket at Ermita is two minutes drive away, in addition there are four local restaurants close by. The village of Jesus Pobre is four minutes drive away and has a small supermarket, bank, pharmacy, bakery and several bars and restaurants. The towns of Javea and Denia are both around ten minutes drive away and provide many shops, restaurants and bars.

Further Details:

The resort of La Sella has a number of clay and all weather tennis courts and offers coaching. It also offers a horse riding centre, a boule court and a small cafe/bar and restaurants. All these facilities are open to visitors.

The Marriott hotel at La Sella has a health spa with beauty treatments, stunning reception rooms, a luxurious pool and restaurants with Spanish and international cuisine.

There are numerous cycle tracks in the area and mountain and road bikes can be rented at several locations.

Walking is a popular pastime in the mountains visible from the house. The tourist information centres in Javea and Denia have brochures about walks in the historic parts of the towns and in the mountains.

The tourist information centres are located near the port in Javea and the train station in Denia, and the weekly newspaper, Costa Blanca News, gives information about local fiestas and events.
