Two Bedroom Apartment with a very private south facing small patio and lawn area. It is across the street of the Princess Garden Restaurant and Pool. It is well equipped, and has a very bright and simple decor.

The three bedroom townhouse, is set in one of the most Peaceful areas of Old Village, at the end of Scottish Road, near the Zanzibar Restaurant.

It has been completely refurbished, to ensure all the usual facilities, and one of its major features is a barbecue terrace that overlooks Pinhal Golf Course.

About Rodrigo Oliveira Santos

We are a portuguese married couple with three girls from 6 to 13 years old, that love the Algarve and in particular Old Village.

Since the first time that we met the complex, we fell in love for it, for its beautiful gardens, common areas, and all around the year life and people.

We first bought a house 15 years ago, and have recently bought a bigger one, to ensure that all our big family can come to enjoy sunny Algarve.

Our passion is also hospitality business, as we like to meet and greet our customers, that easily become our friends, regardless that it is not always possible to ensure that.

Our vacation always include staying in the Algarve, and so we can recommend "our spots", to share with you our experiences.

Changeover , for us , can be any day on the week , no problem.

Notes on prices:
We can discuss discounts for longer lets and out of season lets.

In Peak Season we usually ask for a minimum 7 night stay, but please confirm with us if you wish to book less.

Regarding Sun Loungers in the Patio, please use it during the day, and place it during the night within the patio, to ensure that the grass is well watered in the morning. (also avoids any noise produced by the gardeners in the morning regarding this).

Notes on accommodation: Outside: There are 3 communal swimming pools, (Please note there is a small charge for the sunbeds around the pool, this is beyond our control.)., The charges are 3 Euros per sun bed per day. The areas around the apartments are surrounded by well kept gardens which are very pretty. There is a 24 hour security on the site.

Comfy home from home, just 15 min from Vilamoura Marina

We had lovely lunches on the garden terrace and particularly enjoyed using the pools and walking in the flower filled gardens. A lovely week in the sun and we hope to return soon. Thanks

Lovely trip

About 25 minutes away from the airport. Everywhere you go in taxis, they all provide car seats which funny enough I haven’t been to a country which provide them as usually they just sit on your lap. Cooking facilities in the apartment were great. Instead of eating out every night as we had two babies with us, we stayed in and cooked food, everything you need was already there, pots and pans, cooking utensils. There’s also a washing machine, hair dryer and the tv is great! I have the same tv at home so was ideal. There were loads of British channels, so that night when we stayed in we were able to watch something. They also have numerous of children’s channels, nikelodeon, Disney channel, cebebies, good for when we had to get ready in the mornings. There wasn’t a bath but that didn’t phase us, my 4 year old showered and my 11 month old had a bath in the sink. There was BBQ facilities in the garden which would be great if you had a family and friends with you.

There’s a local super market which has everything you need. Fruit, veg bread butter meat, so on..

also on the complex were a few restaurants.

1.2 miles away, 6€ in a taxi, was the Vilamoura marine, there was a beach to one side and marina on the other. we took a nice walk along the dock, loads of amazing and expensive boats/yachts to have a look at. There were a lot of shops and restaurants along there. We had cleaners come in and give us a bin liner and fresh towels after two days, no one came in then for the rest of the holiday and I would advise maybe after another 3 days to come in again and check if everything is ok, change the bin liner and bed sheets only because our lovely 11 month old baby, decided to spew absolutely everywhere, which went over the bedding, I tried to work the washing machine but weren’t sure how to use it as no lights were coming on, it wasn’t a problem in the end.

Would definitely come back again and are even considering getting married here !

Needs an update

Stayed in this apartment for 3 nights as part of a big group out to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were quite disappointed with the apartment as it is quite dated and tired , particularly the bathroom (really not a fan of grubby old shower curtains) and very old kitchen units. Also it is situated on a fairly busy road. It didn't help that we had several groups of friends all in different apartments which were far more comfortable and had been updated and they were paying less than us.

Owner's Response: Hello Susan, Very sad to see my first one star review. Understand some of your opinions, but do think one star review is too unfair. Don´t understand fully the reasons, has even during your stay our management services team let you stay on a late check out, offered you towels for the pool for free. Prices in old village are set by each owner, and the ground floor apartments are more valuable, regarding nearby road, I have the apartment for more than 15 years and never had any complaint. Regarding shower curtains, and wall paintings needed in the wc, I fully agree, and usually these sort of refurbishments are only done in the winter season. (which we will do) Best Regards Rodrigo

Well equipped apartment

We had a really nice 7 night stay the apartment was well equipped with patio doors opening onto a small garden , the Old Village complex is a good Base for a visit to Villamoura
