'Solymar', a newly refurbished ground floor, 2 bed apartment situated in Marbessa – Elviria on the Costa del Sol, with frontline beach location and uninterrupted views of the sea. Located 40 minutes from Malaga airport and 10 minutes from Marbella town centre, Solymar is in a fantastic location for you to take full advantage of all the Costa del Sol has to offer from beaches to mountains, golf , tennis, kite-surfing, shopping and entertainment.

The apartment has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms both furnished with single beds, bedside tables and built in wardrobes. The main bedroom has fantastic sea views and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a well appointed bathroom adjacent. A fully equipped kitchen was installed in June 2015 complete with modern units & Spanish granite worktops. A large arch from the kitchen opens to the lounge area with great views of the terrace and sea beyond.

For comfort the lounge is air-conditioned with a sofa and a sofa bed, modern oak furniture, flat screen TV, DVD player, wifi & internet TV. Push back the sliding patio doors to the large patio with sun awning and terrace beyond, there you can relax on a lounger, dine alfresco at the 6 seater table or rest on the patio sofas with a chilled drink.

A short flight of steps lead down from the terrace to the garden and from there you can access the sandy beach beyond. Playa Real is a secure complex with a transparent fence around the garden with a resident gate access to the beach. If mobility is an issue, there are several short flights of steps to access both the apartment and beach.

A short walk along the beach brings you to one of several Chiringuitos where you can enjoy a drink or a lovely Spanish meal. Further along walking east brings you to Cabopino with a delightful marina, several restaurants and of course ‘Andy’s bar’ on the beach. Walk west and you can make your way all the way to Marbella town with many places to stop on the way for refreshments.

Playa Real boasts 2 pools; a large outdoor pool with sun loungers and a bar in the summer and a heated indoor pool with sauna. Well kept tranquil gardens separate the complex from the beach, just stroll through the beach gate to enjoy one of the finest sandy beaches in Marbella.

Looking for more than a beach and pool? With easy access to the A-7 all the sights and amenities of the Costa del Sol are within reach or you can venture inland to visit to historical towns of Rhonda or Seville. No car? No problem, you can still explore the area, the buses into Marbella and Fuengirola are reliable and frequent or take a taxi along the coast.

Pass under the iconic Marbella Andalucia arch then onto the real Marbella, no visit is incomplete without wandering around Marbella old town where you get a feel of the traditional Spain, enjoy flamenco dancing or eating in one of the many restaurants.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in your beautiful apartment! The terrace provided the ideal place for the girls to sunbathe, whilst I stayed cool in the beautiful air conditioned lounge. We made great use of the pool and enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on the beach next door most evenings. I have no doubt that we will be back to the Costa Del Sol in the near future and I know exactly where we will be delighted to stay again.

Summer in autum!! Wonderful stay in a clean fresh apartment!!

We stayed in this nice apartment for three weeks. The area is calm and relaxing. In the morning we drove around and there are lovely small villages nearby with nice cafés and restaurangs for lunch or dinner.

To go to Marbella or Puorto Banus is very easy by car. In the afternoon we stayed always in the apartment for

sunshine on the lovely clear beach and even walking and swimming in the ocean 21-22c warm.

Don't say to anyone that this place is the best in Marbella area!!!!!!

Lovely stay by the beach

We stayed at Solymar for a week at the end of September/beginning of October and were very pleased. When we were planning our Costa del Sol holiday a few months ago, we came across the add for Solymar after long searches. It was almost too good to be true as it offered everything our party of five (mom, dad, baby, grandma and grandpa) was looking for and more. First of all, we ought to mention location, location, location! The Playa Real complex is situated in Elviria which is central for day trips to major cities along the coast and inland. As to the apartment itself, it being only a few meters to the beach was a real perk. Everything looked great in the pictures and we were eager to discover it for ourselves.

Once we finally got there most of our expectations were met. The place was generally clean and well-maintained. It was spacious and decorated with taste. While the open air kitchen, dining, living and patio (when all doors were open) were great for intergenerational gatherings, the bedrooms and bathroom were separated enough to allow for intimacy. When it came to amenities, they were plentiful and in good condition. We especially liked the brand new kitchen which made cooking a real pleasure. The outdoor area was very comfortable as well. It was a shame however that there was no barbecue to grill on. We would have loved to cook some local products al fresco. Talking about cooking, there were two small grocerie stores within walking distance and bigger ones 5 minute drive away. On lazy nights, we went to Roberto's (located in the main Playa Real building) for great italian dining and to RaMa (10 minute walk away) for comforting traditional Spanish cuisine by the sea. We would recommend both to everyone!

During our stay, the sea was very rough and water came very high up on the beach so that we could not enjoy it as much as we had first expected. The lawn and pool area made up for it especially with the baby to entertain. With it being so late in the season, the complex was rather quiet. It felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. There was also ample parking.

Overall a great stay! Would recommend Solymar to family and friends without hesitation!

Fantastic location in lovely Marbella

We loved our stay at Elviria. The apartment was fab, spacious with great views, and only 2 minutes from the beach. This was our first holiday abroad with our 5 year old twins, so as parents were a little nervous of this, but we had a fantastic week at the end of August/early September. The weather was amazing! Almost reached 40 degrees when we left! The apartment had everything we needed and was so close to local shops, and was a 10 second fast run to the pool (if you're 5 years old!) We were the only English people there until the last 2 days, and that was actually really nice. We had lots of early morning and late evening walks on the beach when the temperature was perfect, and our favourite restaurant ended up being a 5 minute walk along the shoreline to "Carlos & Paula's" for the best ever Tuna Steak. We didn't want to leave and would love to come back again. We have only been home for a day, and non-holiday life is so boring!

Beautiful beach apartment.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this lovely apartment. The owners have taken care to provide everything you need in a very spacious well kept apartment. All of the arrangements prior to the visit were very detailed and hassle free. If you want a quiet location on the beach in early July this is the perfect location. We were very happy to walk along the beach to the local chiringuitos however if you want to go further a car is recommended. The local bus service is good if you are happy to use it but we found driving very straight forward in this area. The complex itself is very secure, clean and provides life guards and security guards. If we were returning to the Marbesa area we would definitely consider staying here again.

Modern, clean and spacious apartment

The apartment is based on the Playa Royal Complex which is right on the beach front.

The apartment has a large open plan lounge and dining area and a brand new kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size with one en suite. The master bedroom looks out to the ocean a beautiful view I will miss!

There is a large terrace so you don't need to sunbathe out by the pool and there is a raised patio area with seating.

All in all we made good use of the facilities and had a great weeks break

Fantastic Stay near the sea

The appartment has the right size, a great kitchen, large terrace and direct access to the lawn in front of the beach.

After some days we settled in an had found shops, indoor pool, gym, roads, junctions, etc. so that we fully enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast near the sea, jogging in the morning with direct access to the beach, steaks and burgers on the terrasse, etc.

We plan to come back to this lovely place. My wife even checked out availability to buy a similar appartment there.

The advantage of this compound is that it is very close to the sea. New hotels and appartment houses need to stay 50m or more off the beach.

We loved the two weeks we stayed there.

And Deborah was always there - via email - when we had questions.

We spent a quite a while choosing a property because we were certain we had to have a sea view and we would not compromise on that, not just a view from a distance or between other developments but a clear view where you can hear the waves -with only a secure terrace and garden between us and the sea this certainly fits the bill. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a large lounge/dinner and a kitchen with a view of the sea, this apartment is perfect for adults & families looking for a holiday situated on the beach but close enough to all the amenities of the Marbella and costa del Sol region. Young children? Just pop across the garden to the beach, no lengthy trips in a hot car or up countless steps to retrieve left items. Stay at our apartment and you and your children can play on the beach then wander back to the apartment for lunch or a siesta. (no worries about where the nearest toilet is!) Situated in the Marbessa-Elviria area the complex is quiet & secluded but close to beach side restaurants, within walking distance of the local supermarket and just a short drive to Elviria centre with plenty of shops and restaurants. Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola & Estapona are only a short drive away. The airport in Malaga is only 30 miles away.

Coast/Beach:

Just a 35 metre stroll across the garden is a beautiful long sandy beach stretching from Cabopino all the way to Marbella. Great for families and sunbathers alike. A short walk along the beach is the famous 5* Don Carlos Hotel and Nikki Beach Club. Relax on the terrace where you can see the sea or walk along to the many beach side chiringuitos for lunch, dinner or a drink to watch the sunset. Next door to the complex is le Papillon, a lovely bar & restaurant.

Tennis is available at the Don Carlos resort and for golf lovers there are several golf clubs very close by including the Santa Maria Golf & Country Club.

East is the neighbouring urbanisation of Cabopino, with its charming port and beaches is just five minutes drive or 20 minutes walk along the beach, home to Cabopino Golf and a further five minutes, direction Fuengirola, you come to the very British area of Calahonda, with its host of facilities to shop and dine.

Drive west and the beautiful town of Marbella is just 10 minutes away, wander around the charming Old Town of Marbella and enjoy a drink in the Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square), the town has superb dining choices. Glitzy Puerto Banús with its luxury yachts and stylish boutiques is just past Marbella. There is a large shopping centre (La Cañada) is situated just outside of Marbella and offers over 200 stores.

Travel:

Malaga airport is only 40 minutes drive away. Buses into Marbella are frequent from the airport and the local bus will bring you to within 5 minutes walk of the apartment.

This great apartment with its stunning sea view and easy access to the beach is fantastic for adults and children alike. With air-conditioning/heating, free wifi, flat screen TV & DVD player we aim to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Completely redecorated with new furniture, electrics and a new kitchen 'Solymar' is a home from home with all the conveniences you expect in a smart holiday apartment. Very few properties can claim the beach is just a 35 metres stroll to the beach! Enjoy a dip in the pool or stroll along the beach to the many Chiringuitos. The world famous 'Nikki Beach' can be found around 10 minute walk down the beach, walk along to Cabopino marina for lunch or dinner or enjoy one of the many beach side restaurants. The large secure terrace is well appointed with 2 sofas, a coffee table, large dining table with chairs and sun loungers. Relax in tranquil surroundings or take a short drive to the A-7 to access the Costa del Sol and Andalusia.
