One bedroom 5th floor apartment, in apart-hotel, now with NEW double sofa bed and totally redecorated for 2016, overlooking the River Segura. Wi-fi in apartment with English t.v. Sky sports & movies .Accessible by two lifts, access wheelchair friendly. Hot/cold air con making the property suitable for all year round use. Large swimming pool with children`s section, pool bar ( summer ), , children`s play area. Bar, snack bar,games wi-fi and computer access in reception area. Occasional live entertainment and bbq`s. The apartment is far better equipped than those let by the hotel management.We have a English agent in Spain on call 24hrs a day for emergencies. She will greet you on arrival at the apartment with the keys or transfer you from the airport at a competitive rate. We are got married in September 2014. While on honeymoon in Spain we decided to buy our own apartment. David still works part-time at a firm of solicitors but we will be holidaying at the apartment when we can. As we intend to use the apartment ourselves we have equipped it to a high standard

“We love the town of Guardarmar as it is very Spanish. There are plenty of quality restaurants and quiet bars. The seaside resort has every need. A beach by the town and a natural beach with sand dunes out of town. There is a pine forest and parks with peaceful walks with a chance to see the wild life. The port/marina is attractive with many small boats. It is possible to fish in the river Segura and walk or cycle by the river. The sea is crystal clear and not a stone to be found.The people are friendly and helpful. A perfect rowdy free holiday for young and old.”
Activity and Interests
11 kilometer sandy beach,one of the best in Spain split by the river Segura and port with attractive marina and Club Nautica. Natural beach with sand dunes 15 mins walk through pine forest to the beach.Beach by promenade and restaurants 20 mins walk through town. La Marina sand dune beach other side of river 10 mins by car. Nudist beach to west of town.
The nearest airport is Alicante 40 minutes by car. San Javier airport in the opposite direction is approx. 50 mins. We can provide airport transfers at a competitive rate.
Use of a car is not essential but recommended. The Europa is within easy access to the national road N332 and has a large open air car park and one underground
Torrevieja with its old town shops and marina and La Zeina has Europe`s second largest shopping centre all within easy travelling distance. There is also a waterpark and other fun activities in this area. Alicante is an large attractive town with a sandy beach and also the railway station. Inland there are many quaint villages in particular Elche, Villamartin , Oriehuella and Benidorm is an hour away. Guardamar has a bus station serving the surrounding areas.
A large supermarket nearby has an extensive range of products including English items. It also has a cafe. Other stores are in the town and a large market is within walking distance on a Wednesday morning. There are numerous cafe and Tapas bars near the beach and some quality restaurants and a Chinese restaurant near Park Sofia. The town has quiet bars and there is a modern nightclub on the industrial estate and a Karaoke bar and night club outside the town.
There are several banks in the main street along with clothes stores and every other need.There are two parks one is large (within the pine forest) with paths leading to the beach. These are suitable for cycling. Bicycles can be rented from Europa reception. Park Sofia has an enchanting pond with ducks, geese and peacocks. close to a children`s playground.
