Bungalow in Illogan, Nr. Portreath, Cornwall, England - Near the Beach. Ideal for Coastal Walking, Golf, Cycling and Surf. Accessible and Dog Friendly.

Teylu Lowen is an accessible "home from home" bungalow in a quiet rural location near the sea. The bungalow is perfectly placed to visit the Eden Project, the Poldark Mine, Minack Theatre or Flambards. There are cycle paths, golf courses, beautiful beaches and coastal paths all just a few minutes drive away. We recognise that, like us, many families also prefer to relax in the warm evenings with a BBQ and a glass of wine/beer and perhaps play a game of darts or table tennis so we made sure the bungalow had these too.

About Sarah Elliott

Although I now live in the Midlands, I grew up in Cornwall and my family still live just 5 minutes drive from the bungalow. My sister helps with changeovers and will be close at hand if required.

Why Sarah Elliott chose Camborne, Redruth & Hayle

The bungalow is close to my family and a few short minutes from the A30 so it's a perfect base to explore Cornwall. It is also just 5 minutes walk from Tehidy Country Park which is an ideal spot to take our dog for a walk.

What makes this bungalow unique

Before I bought this property I could not find affordable accessible, dog friendly holiday accommodation with the home from home feel. The property has a large private back garden with BBQ, table tennis and darts to keep you entertained at home while being a perfect launchpad for all Cornwall's tourist attractions, beaches coastal paths and golf courses.

Notes:
Outside: To the front there are two gates to the driveway (which provides parking for 3 cars) and a small garden. To the rear is a large private garden and patio area with barbeque and garden furniture. There is a table tennis table and racquet sports sets in the garage that can be used in the back garden. The garage also has a dart board (for rainy days), a dog crate, if required, and has space to store surf boards, bicycles, wet suits or golf clubs. Utility Room: Utility area in the garage with washing machine, freezer and microwave. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen is provided (not towels). Ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner, outdoor clothes line and indoor airer are provided.

Very clean & well maintained, loved the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits & milk. Thank you. Comfortable beds & found the walk in shower very convenient. Would have liked a better microwave though.The area was very peaceful & quiet, but with plenty of places to visit within reach. Altogether a lovely holiday.

Great bungalow!

This was a lovely bungalow in a very quiet neighbourhood. Comfortably furnished, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), modern kitchen, and off-street parking. It's also extremely well equipped - Hive thermostat for easy control of the heating, wi-fi, Freeview TV in the living room with DVD player, Nintendo Wii games console with 2 controllers and loads of games, plenty of board games, dart-board, and table-tennis table. The owners kindly provided a pint of milk, pringles, and a packet of chocolate digestives, as well as coffee and tea. The location is great for exploring Cornwall. During our stay we drove to Land's End, Newquay, St Ives, Porthcurno, and to the Eden Project. I wholeheartedly recommend this bungalow.

It was good interior condition just needs refreshing in places

Garden lovely and big, needs an updated microwave, liked the wet room, needs a more regular outside bin emptying routine. Nice walks around country park and close to beaches overall very good bungalow would go there again.

well appointed easy to find and comfortable

We had a lovely stay over Christmas at this bungalow near the north coast of Cornwall. It was large enough for the three of us and comfortable. There was a good car parking area, spacious lounge and large kitchen diner. We had easy access to all parts of the south west of Cornwall and could visit all the local sights.

The bungalow was clean and warm and the owner was kind enough to leave us some welcome gifts which was appreciated after a long journey. The owner was contactable when we needed to ask for some advice and all in all this bungalow ideally suited our needs.

Excellent location with easy access to the fantastic coast and countryside

The property isn't in a place which most people would automatically choose to stay but it is in an excellent location with easy access to the fantastic coast and countryside. I got up every morning for a run - through Tehidy Country Park, along the North Cliffs, down to Portreath and back up through Bridge. We visited a lot of places over the four days, including Portreath, Perranporth, Hayle, St Ives, Penzance and Newlyn. Everything that was needed to have a comfortable stay was provided. Our New Years' stay was warm and cosy.

Immaculate bungalow, clean and well maintained, perfect location, dog friendly and safe

Our holiday party included myself, my wife and her 89 year old Mum and our dog Archie.

Perfect bungalow in the lovely village of Illogan, Nr Portreath, which was perfect for visiting St Ives, Porthleven, Perranporth, St Mawes, Truro and many more beautiful beaches and harbours. The layout was perfect for my mother in law who has mobility problems, the wet room was so useful, handrails were fitted from indoors to the garden which made her feel very independent and comfortable. Our dog Archie enjoyed the garden which was large and safe. Supermarkets 5 minutes away, great Cornish Pasty shop in Illogan and good fish and chip shop in Portreath.

Great holiday, enjoyed by all.

Changeover Day:
